Steve Jobs has gone on record saying he won't enter the phone market or PDA market because he can't see any way to drastically improve it enough to completely pwn* the market.
Google offers 1 GB, or 1000 MB, of space. They do this as to not confuse non-tech folk. When you reach 1000 megs, it's 100% full. When you reach the actual limit of 1024 megs, it's 102% full.
Oh, and back when yahoo had a 4 meg limit, my throway's account would gather up spam and it would stop me at 5 megs, or 125% of the limit. No idea what happens now that it's 100 megs.
Well, that was back with Nintendo 64. Controllers have gotten a lot more sane since then. With two analogue sticks, I have no problems with first person shooters on consoles anymore. MOH Frontline was a breeze to control. As is SOCOM II, which I just picked up. Halo was (and still is) awesome.
Also, you might be able to take an already existing USB keyboard and rewire it. But that would cost you a controller.
Just curious, what do you do with your computer that so that a dual g5 would be replacable for a dual opteron?
I'm pretty much OS agnostic myself, but when I have a specific task in mind I have a specific OS in mind. If what I do could be done with a PC instead of a Mac, I would do it on a PC. It would certainly be a lot cheaper.
You mean genetically altered spider. Radiation was cool/hip in the 50's and 60's when the comics were written, and passe when SP1 came out. In the movie, genetics was the new hotness mutation.
Winamp 5 isn't exactly Winamp version 5. It's more like 3.5. They used the number 5 because they wanted the features of 3 with the speed and ability of 2. 2+3=5. And that's where they got the number.
I did too. I didn't know better. It was before Windows ME officially came out. I got it early because I was getting it on an OEM. I thought it was getting a hot deal too.
That machine spent 4 years with ME on it before I got my parents set up with a nice eMac. Now it's running W2k and will soon run MythTV when I can afford a new hard drive. I'm posting from it right now.
Take a look at the left side. Look a little familiar? Besides the fact that the colors are on the other side, it's the same interface. And in the same space as well.
The other thing is, why is this only in the UK? Try going to newsbot.msn.com and look where it redirects to.
This may be what you're looking for. Has everything except bluetooth, and is still cheap with a black and white screen. Tetris is official (has tetris logo) and even plays the famous theme.
Uh, no.
The iPod plays mp3s. It has an mp3 decoder chip. In fact, they didn't play AACs until some time after they were announced (two years?).
Converting mp3 to AAC would be destructive and silly. Where did you hear this?

*That's not a typo
While this is funny and all, I'll explain.

Anyone have a link for the now old Lindows Rock? I thought that was funnier*
*not funnier, but stupider. In a funny way.

I really like how this page isn't compatible with firefox. (the text overlaps pictures)
The Olympics aren't sports. They are sports and games.

I sure hope the RIAA doesn't look in Bittorrent's direction. There are a LOT of good legal uses for it. Moreso (in my mind) than KaZaA.
It's very good if say, you have a laptop and want to record directly onto the computer for viewing later at another location.
I can tell you from experience plane rides are much more enjoyable with all 3 seasons of Family Guy.

How would we know?
No, but the iPod is the one that they, and just about every other hard drive mp3 player, are in competition with.

If you're looking for a TV tuner card for linux, ignore this. The only drivers for it do not support capture or TV-out.
Pssh. I bought a Dell with Windows ME on it!

You can't on there, but it is available on the iTMS
Will they be available to customers in Istanbul (not Constantanople)?
Shocking! /sorry, couldn't resist.

If by stealing it you mean copied it...
Well then you're still partially wrong. They bought it off Xerox and drastically improved it.
And the mouse was invented by someone else I believe prior to Xerox.
Two quick things.

Those are only weapons of semi-minor destruction.
We're looking for the Weapons of MASS Destructions. So they'd have to be Pentium 4 Extremes.
