How much did your 5 digit UID cost you? Call me suspicious, but I think it's pretty odd that someone with such a low UID would praise a Microsoft product. This is/. you know.
I'm sorry to disagree with you but I think you might be getting old. There has been a of decent movies in the last couple of years here is a list of the ones I could think of quickly.
Crash was a really good look at extremes of race relations albeit in a sensational way. I like how it dealt with people's motivations. This made the characters very rich and multidimensional.
Little miss sunshine is decidedly funny in a satirical, real and slightly obscure sort of way.
The Departed was a pretty good undercover/corrupt cop's/mob movie and it boast a bunch of 1st rate actors.
Kill bill was great blend of martial arts, comedy and action that left little to be desired, if you could stand the blood.
The inside man was one of the best bank heist movies I think I've ever seen. I have to admit that I'm partial to movies with Denzel Washington though.
I'm no Art aficionado, but in the last couple of years I've noticed that you can't judge a movie by whether you've heard of it or not. There a lot of low budget, independent films out there that are really good movies.
Also, I'm not certain whether any of these movies are in either of the HD formats; I was just point out that there are some decent movies out there.
Our embassies aren't just a front/home base for covert CIA operations.
The missile defense system doesn't really work.
The war in Iraq isn't about Oil.
The government doesn't read your e-mail. We do have spy satellites but they don't work.
Sure! Gotcha!
Move along nothing to see here.
This isn't meant to be funny or insensitive... but if he did do it and is found guilty it seems like he'll have a bunch of time on his hand. You know, with the long jail sentence and all. Is their a reason why he can't continue working on this project from jail? Also, working on a OSS with your free time in jail seems like it might get you some good behavior points.

Is it just me or does anyone else think it's a bit weird to have a computer pick out everything in our lives? Do we really need a computer to tell us what music we like to listen to? I don't think so.
I used a Diebold electronic voting machine yesterday, as I'm sure many of you did. With all of the/. stories about the problems with these machines I would not have been too surprised if something crazy happened, like Mickey Mouse winning the election. At the moment though it doesn't look like any serious hacking of these machines occurred. I do kind of wonder if someone snuck in a couple votes for either of the primary presidential candidates though. What do you think?:-)
I think I'll post the following question on the affirmation site.
President Bush and Senator Kerry, I believe the current two political party system in the U.S. isn't meeting the needs of our extremely diverse country. Do either of you see any benefits in letting or helping some of the lesser recognized political parties gain more recognition, such that our government could move to a three party or multi-party system? If so, what are they and are you welling to help move our government toward a truly multi-party political system?
If some one wants to reword this question, such that it makes more sense, please feel free to do so. I think you all get the gist of my question though.
Is it just me or are their other people out there frantically searching their websites for email addresses, so they can remove them. I can almost feel the spam coming. Oh no!!!!
But giving up the internet for a week? That would be hard my friend...
Hard? Try impossible. How else would I keep in contact with all my friends and family? Pay my bills? Keep up with the news?... etc. And that's just personal uses. I'm sure my boss wouldn't be to happy about me not working on any of my projects all week because I couldn't use the internet to store and transfer important files. Just my 2 cents.
This technology mixing AI and artificial voices seems really cool, but comments like
"Ghost are almost living beings like you and I"
need to go if they want the public behind it. No matter how complex the AI is or how real the voices seem, they aren't the same as humans. And while they are at it change the name of the AI beings. The word ghost already has a very defined meaning... and it's not a good one. Remember what happened with the American car "nova" or "no go" in Spanish? This really could turn into a PR nightmare for these guys. Which would stink because the technology definitely looks interesting.
I almost wish Microsoft had gone ahead with this plan. It would further prove how stupid their business model is and it might even convince a couple people to switch operating systems. (RedHat, OS X or something):)
I don't understand why these copyrights can/should not stay valid forever. If an author/creator/person has some intellectual property they should be able to set the bounds for how long after they die that property can be freely distributed. If that bound is set for forever and they want their kids to live off their Intellectual property then that's there decision. In the cases of companies owning the intellectual property, I believe it's totally up to them to drop the claim to the property and that they should be able to do this whenever they want.
Anyway it seems like everyone is always making a big deal about getting stuff for free. It seems like the type of stuff they are talking about in this article (movies and photographs and books) can all be easily obtained off the Internet for free. And although the manner they are obtained of the Internet isn't exactly legal, like P2P mp3 downloads, it's pretty common. And I'm not sure about everyone else but I haven't heard of too many cases where individuals were prosecuted for violating copyright laws.

Logging chats is pretty easy and there are a bunch of clients that have this feature built in.
but if this happened I'd shoot myself.
I can't be the only one to think that creating black holes on or even near earth is a really bad idea.

I think the next 4 years of American History is going to be very interesting. I don't expect a civil war but I do truly wonder what's next.

Yeah basically.
But maybe it would be better to not have to break the law.
Here is the sum of that article. DVD-R >> TIVO Didn't we all know that already?
