    The companies marketing the drives and systems clearly state the capacity in Gigabytes. This means 1000 megabytes. While many customers believe that Gigabyte means 1024 Megabytes. This is not true. Refer to the list below.

    1024bytes = 1KiB (kibibit)
    1024KiB = 1MiB (mebibyte)
    1024MiB = 1GiB (gibibyte)
    1024GiB = 1TiB (tebibyte)

    1000 bytes = 1KB (kilobyte)
    1000KB = 1MB (megabyte)
    1000MB = 1GB (gigabyte)
    1000GB = 1TB (terabyte)

    Therefore, the users are simply ignorant and the lawsuit should be thrown out. Yet I do feel that they should make the capicity in MiB, GiB, TiB, etc. Oh, and OS's are programed that 1024 MB = GB instead of 1000 MB = GB. My experience with steam is that even if one file is changed in a game or program it downloads and verifies all the files. So instead of patching it downloads all the code again. This is quite time consuming. Now for the linux part...
    Valve uses steam to keep software up to date etc. Couldn't it use steam to also release new code and make it available so that if you buy HL2, when they rework the code to include native linux support then you will have it available because you have a valid Steam ID? Would be intersting if valve could pull that off, and would actually rework the code to work with linux.

    I feel as if games should be more like Deus Ex. Have a plot, but the gameplay be completely open ended. The difficulty settings range from whatever to completely and utterly reaslistic. i.e. Easy you can get blasted a few times before you die, in realistic you can get killed from one shot. Also, open ended gameplay in the game allows the player to choose how to solve problems in the game. While in Deus Ex you did have to use force once, in Deus Ex 2 you don't at all. Too many games force you to take on a certain role even if they are supposed to be open ended games they don't allow you to fully interact with the enviroment etc. A game wouldn't be boring if you felt you could do anything you wanted in the game, make it so you are the character instead of forcing you to make decisions based on what the character would think.
