Thats what my school does, every user has a map drive on the linux server. The nt login script changes my documents to that drive each time the user logs on. deepfreeze also does a good job with upping the win98 security, cant just click cancel to log on, must log on to a specific domain with a correct user/pass that must be changed weekly. Also works fine for xp. Deepfreeze is awsome when it comes to tamper protection, unless you have the thaw password, you cant do anything short of low level formating the hard drive, which defeats the purpose anyway.

Where is all the antiaolism coming from? I mean AOL is an ISP, nothing more. The big difference is it actualy gives its subscribers more bang for its buck. It allows all those computer dumb people a way to easly get what they want done in a computer dumb way. Is it the same thing as the whole mac bashing phenominon? They do their best to give computer dumb people a way to use computers, comon. Im hoping its not that. Is it the whole aol chat room stigma of bad grammer and very poor spelling because much of the discussion on slashdot is no better (well, at least some of it:D)... well... im done for now...
Iv never understood the general anti-aol viewpoint of the slashdot community. Think about it, aol allows computer dumb people to use computers. When computer dumb people use the computers two things happen. They break the computers (which gives you a way to get some extra cash) and they eventualy get better at computers, which makes new slashdoters. Im not ashamed to admit that I at one point I used aol, thankfully those times are over...
This is the one I have! Im so happy cause mine crapped out on me like the year I got it and I just got a new one. This is so great, because I didnt throw that one away, now I can get another new one for free!! (the new one I got after was model 02k6543)... Interesting story, first hand acount of this fire problem happening. This is the ps that all the teachers use(d) at my high school like 5 years ago and one caught fire and the building had to be evacuated. That was like 3 years ago though.
