J&J's mark isn't assoicated w/ chairty relief and the suit isn't going to stop the ARC from using it as such. J&J is suing to stop ARC from licensing it to J&J competitors.
ha, my friends and I were on a quest to beat that(sorry) back in the day. I have a friend we still call "michael" in that high pitched way the children say it when you rescue them. Totally awesome.
They've redesigned the zapper from that picture. The new model has 2 handles and looks more like a shotgun or something. In the pictures I've seen, you can see the nunchuck's connector and cable, so yeah. It probably is just a shell.
Exactly. Nintendo doesn't have to cater to you, because they don't need you. The wonderful thing about having 3 systems is that if one company isn't making the games you want, somebody else probably is.
According to Wikipedia (so take it with a grain of salt, but it does match what I can remember), the PS2's price history from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS2#History:
North America[24]
You have to remember that the PS2 was in the 360's position last round (or more accurately , the 360 is in the PS2's). The PS2 didn't have any real competition for over a year after its launch.
I believe that the original xbox (and maybe the gamecube too) got a price cut about the same in 2002. So there is a prescedent for price cuts this early, but not with Sony.
Making games or making them suck? It took them both about the same time to run their respective businesses into the ground.
If you're close enough to a machine to point at it, then you're close enough to do whatever you want to it, security be damned.
Simple, see that Cat5 cable coming out of the back? Pull it out.
Not for trademarks. You get protection in perpituity but you have to police it yourself.

Exactly, they aren't suing ARC for using a red cross. They're suing ARC for putting its red cross on the stuff that J&J's competitors sell.
yeah, and since the people running aren't going to give us those things, we have to settle for bridges to no where.
Yes, that's how the system is supposed to work. Why else would I vote for someone if I wasn't expecting some benefit from doing so?
And what were their majors? This is less about improving girl's lot in education and more about getting them into areas that are traditionally male.
And then they can make the V-Chip X-TREME! when this fails.
I believe that Matt Groening has said his favorite thing about Futurama was that he could still make fun of Nixon.
yes, but then why spend the extra on a mac? There's nothing you can do in linux on apple hardware that you can't do on somebody else's, for cheaper.
Isn't that the exact same argument that was used against the DS?
I would believe that is the point.
You've got things more right than you could possibly have intended.

Its not about ideals anymore. Its about opposing what the other guy likes and vice versa. Especially when that person is Bush.
Its caused by the same thing that lets them throw fireballs and eat mushrooms that make them grow.
I'm all for realism, but there's a line man. And you're on the wrong side of it.
Yeah, give Jack Thompson more ammo. You'll have kids taking swords to school and impaling themselves. Think of the children!

Ah yes. They did that in preparation for the N64's launch in september. They were a little less cocky back then, eh?

The problem with that theory is that the internet does everything you suppose porn should do, only better than either of these disk formats.
So I've heard: http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/11/r-i-p-playstatio n-3-20gb-is-officially-no-more/
