Wow. That's the first time in a long time I haven't wanted to slug Michael for a snide comment on a story. He used the Simpsons reference to get on my good side.
Yeah, you're right. Sorry about that. There's a couple of European anti-American trolls on/. that I'd love to meet in person and smack around a little.
Just because an American owns an SUV or 4x4 doesn't make him a soccer mom or yuppie or whatever. My family's ranch is 34,000 acres w/ over 40 miles of dirt road between it and the nearest highway. There's quite a few of us that can't drive anything else.
This is a sign of weakness that they do this. I wonder how much money and time they wasted on this but apparently after seeing that fictional Linux kernel error, probably not much.
I used Redhat 7.3-9 and each release would skip playing mp3s/oggs under a light load (Mozilla, Mozilla Mail, couple of terminals w/ ssh) on a 1gig PIII laptop w/ 512 of RAM.
By sharp contrast, Mandrake does not skip under much heavier loads. Also, not based on a scientific test or anything but Mandrake FEELS faster. I look forward to trying out the 2.6 kernel that came w/ my 9.2 boxed set today.
Wow, now Stallman will finally have to get off his soapbox and actually do soemthing for his religion I mean cause. I have been wondering why he hasn't done anything about this SCO problem when compared to ESR and Perens. Stallman has been pretty quiet and I expected him to be the most vocal.
I'm now befuddled "Mr, Walmart Pants." I'm sure I'd be inclined to take offense if I knew what the hell that meant. Anyway, I have never seen a online-retailer that couldn't conduct transactions w/out popups.
That's funny since I just bought 4 books from Amazon, a rifle scope from swfa.com, and a sling and cheekpad from cactustactical.com using Mozilla and blocking pop-ups.
Add an easy point and click way to setup ACPI and I could get rid of Windows on my laptop!
Oh wait, I did anyway. Not because I thought Linux worked better but because I hate Windows.
It has been my experience that ultimately, a decision that affects a great deal of people or one person is usually made by ONE person.
Who would that be at Symantec? I wonder if the software blocks porn and anti-gun sites as well?
Better yet, ignore drugs/alcohol and go out and get laid. Or go running or swimming and get a natural high. Funny how most drugs users can't get off their asses and do a little PT.
Is anybody else reminded of Darryl, Darryl, and Darryl on Newhart?

No, I was talking about an Anonymous Coward, not you :)
Durangos are nice, too bad you can't one w/ a Cummins.
I sure as hell did. KDE worked much better. The whole desktop FELT faster. urpmi works surprisingly well.

Too bad you're posting at the pinnacle of European manhood (anonymously).
Sure wish someone large company w/ deep coffers would buy Mandrake and support the *best* KDE distro IMHO.
So who said he was a hero?

Sure is understandable. Thanks! We just leave the prairie dogs out to be eaten by coyotes, bobcats, ferrets, scavenger birds, and their own kind.

My ego doesn't require it but my livestock sure appreciate it.
Take a look here
They can bring it. Right to the prairie dog town I'm shooting at.

Just on prairie dogs :)

No need really. Neither good nor l33t. Enough to make you waste your time bitching.
Anyway, this is really cool for wireless in Linux.

No, I'm telling you what I know and have experienced. I'll bet money you wouldn't call me a loser to my face either.

And is there an explanation for your arrogance? Your awesome stereotyping abilities? You're full of shit.
