An you are quite incorrect in this reguard. The Supreme Court has already handed a ruling that freedom of press out weighs any form of government classifiation. So while the person who turned over those documents to the press is guilty of a crime, the person that published them, in this case Wikileaks, is not.
This is why the TSA is a farce that needs to be completely rebuilt from zero (and the policy makers transferred to GitMo)
This has been something that I've been saying for some time now. Any policy maker that makes a policy, be it a congress critter, a president, or department head, that is later declaired to be illegal or unconsititutional needs to be held accountable.
If you start fineing these damn congress critters for proposing crap like the patriot act or this TSA bullshit then you would have alot less of it. Hell, send some of them to prison. While your, at it you needs ot send some of these TSA goons to prison for it too.
I agree. The interactions between Anderson and Judge was magic. While there was a few episodes that dealt with the polictical issues, they where usually only one a season. I really hated episodes that involved that senator character.
Where in SG-U that crap was in every episode. Military vs the civiliians, Rush vs Young. I really hated that fucking shit. I want to see them go through stargates and explore strange new worlds, admitigly most of them looked like Vancouver.
I don't give a shit who is sleeping with who, and the military vs civilian shit can goto hell too.
Do people really use gimp? The last time I tried it I found it almost impossible to use. Granted this was a few years ago. Would it be worth my time to go back and look at it again?
I went back an read my past posts too. I couldn't remember that by pass post. I've come to one in escapable conclusion though. I'm a bigger asshole than I though I was.
French grammer nazi's decited that they didn't like my french and moded every post I ever made down. So this account sits at 0 now. You should have seen it 3 years ago when it was at -2. It was just a case of abuse of the mod system before they "fixed" it.
I have another account that I post under that I post at +2.
I really have no clue where the rights of the child end and the parents begin. From what I've started to figure they begin and end where its convenent for the system. After all they think nothing of jacking a child up an try him as an adult it there was enough money involved. I can't think of the case right now but it involves a 14 or 15 year old hacker getting his case jack up to tri him as an adult. I'm pretty sure someone will remind me sooner or later.
He is a kid he can't wave any right because he has none. Sounds strange but I believe that is the way it works in the eyes of the law. From what I understand his rights all revert to his parents.
Now then, my question is "was he questioned by police with out the presents of his parents or councel?" If he wasn't that needs to be added to he the charges in the upcoming law suit.
Man this is all fucked up, or maybe I'm just fucked up. On one hand its plan as day the kid had his rights run over by a monster truck of just-us. But on the other hand does the kid have any rights to be ran over.
I disagree. It is a form of public humiliation and that used be a common punishment for minor crimes. Chaining someone to the hitching post or put them in the stocks in the town square was standard treatment several hundred years ago for stuff like public drunkeness, wife beatings, or brawling. Granted, those are not minor crimes now but they where then.
By putting someone in the stocks in the town square you let the whole village know what kind of loser they where. Now, we have taken this dumbass and stuck his loser ass in the internet version of the town square. Which just turns out to be the whole fucking world.
Maybe this loser will learn something, maybe not. Better yet, maybe his dumbass will be an example to other dumbasses to what can happen. Maybe this unknown dumbasses will stay unknown and not bother the rest of us.
Monster cables are indeed shit. I forgot how much I paid for the component connectors for my ps2 but it was a butt load. Over 30 bucks. Damn things didn't work. There was a lose wire in the blue connector. I soildered it only to have another one break lose. Got tired of fucking with it to I tossed it in a bin and bought a set of cables from walmart for 6 bucks.
Damn things work great and I can't tell the difference.
Sounds like the same set up that I have. A shuttle xpc running winxp, but I have a radeon 9700 instead of the geforce 6600. I don't have it hooked up to a projector but its hooked up to a projection screen tv. That almost counts as the samething.. No it doesn't? Oh well.
Did you just take one look at the shuttle xpc and say to yourself, "that would make damn good htpc?"
Come on people, this really is a simple thing to patch your system to take care of this. Baring that, if you are to lazy to do so just set up a couple of cron jobs to take care of the problem. One to set the correct time on March 11, and one to correct the problem again on April 1st, I think. You'll need two more to correct the time again when we fall back in the fall sometimes.
Best fucking way to deal with this issue would be just to get rid of daylight savings time all together.

I can download any version of windows from a number of sites in a few minutes. It's those keys is what mickysoft really charges for.
Haven't they not already gone this way? I think the mpaa have come up with a perfect way to prevent people from pirating their shit. They just start making crap so bad that no one will watch it, much less pirate it. I mean, Snake on a Plane? Please.
I thought of this when I noticed that my Netflix queue was full of anime and forgien films instead of Hollywood shit.
If you think walmart gives you better prints than a Canon inkjet does then you simply have no clue what you are doing. Ether that or you really don't care what you photo's look like. Walmart is the place people take thier photos when they have no clue what they want.
Okay, here is the deal on photo inkjet printers. I have two, one is a epson photo r300 that I use for some prints, mostly small ones, and printing DVD's. The other one is a Canon i9900, that I use for portrats and other large format prints. The epson has a max. print size of 8.5x11 where the canon can do 13x19.
Since these are photo printers they come with 6 to 8 ink carts. This allows them a wider color range than standard printers, 3 color carts, that print photos. Since I print packages of prints instead of vacation prints the cost vs the convenence is much better. The cost of each of these color carts runs about 10 bucks for OEM and half for third party, the cost isn't a bank breaker.
Truth is there is no printer that will allow you to print vacation pictures or rolls of 3x5 or 4x6 pirnts at home cheaper than a lab can do it. Well at least no printer that a home user will need. If your going to be running off 30 or more pictures your better off contacting a print lab. An excellet one is www.winkflash.com, they charge 12 cents apiece for a 4x6.
As for the cost of ink carts, OEM carts can cost you an arm and a leg true. But third party carts can be just as good and can be much cheaper. Personally, I use third party inks in my epson and OEM carts in my canon. I just haven't found any good third party carts that make me happy for the canon.

Besides, you will always have a single point of falure somewhere in the system. There is simply no way around it. Hell, you could raid your data cross two systems on ether side of the planet and still have it. One day your happly sorting your porn^H^H^H^Hdata, the next your an intersteller bypass.
Hey, don't laugh. It could happen.

Depends on how bad the controller dies. If it goes wonky and writes bad data all over your drives as it dies then you just as SOL as if your drives had died. Of course you powersupply can also blow up taking everything in the computer with it.
That is what happened to me. Turn the fucker on, it made funny noise, then blew up. It was cool as hell, smoke, fire and all kinds of shit came blowing out the fan ports. Toasted everything on the MB but the graphics card, CPU, and the memory SIMM.
Why are they so heavy handed? it's a story book largely written for kids.
I would imagine they don't' want the book to wind up online before it goes on sale. Rumor has it the last book was online less than 4 hours after it went on sale. They had people standing by who bought the book at midnight. Each scanned in a chapter and posted it. Rumor has it, they are going to try to beat their record this time.
Other than that I'm pretty sure you can tell them to piss off after you bought it, court order or no court order.
You must not know any Harry Potter fans. I know a couple, and I'm pretty confident that Barnes and Noble will be packed at 12:01 AM on July 16th.
Fuck that shit. I ordered mine on Amazon back in January. It will on my door step Saturday morning. Probably before I even get out of bed. I got better things to do, sleep, than stand in line for a book.
When Dell says they might switch to AMD, Intel probably shudders...if Apple said it, they'd probably laugh.
I wouldn't go that far. While I doubt that Apple would ever buy as many chips as Dell would, Apple is a major player in the computer field. Pulling Apple away from a major competitor like IBM would be a big feather in Intels cap for marketing purposes.
