Imho, these kind of solutions is what is the real driving force of the future of robotics. Now to have a coffee and think about how our warehouse sized, multiped overlords will shape the future.

What humanity should have learned through infinite wars and numerous religious superstitions, is that man is capable of doing anything if he believes he is in his right to do so. If nothing else, it will revolutionize the packaging industry. Strong cardboard boxes are a holy grail of packaging. kids will have a hard time tearing open their christmas gifts...
Other uses? Paper airplanes, coat it with plastic and make a really cheap fishing boat, tape that won't break, temporary floor, single-use knife, non-toxic circuit board for cheap toys... i can come up with tons of ideas, raging from routers/ network-sharers, as-above-mentioned-thin-clients, etc., and I never wrote an article on the matter

i was going to comment something along these lines, but with a few minor modifications.
see, the commercial aspects are so strong, i fear what the end-user will se, will be naught but the 24/7 streaming videowalls, the videopanels and the videolabeled clothing. anything that can be used to transmit commercial messages...
