Here I would like to ask/.ers to buy the book at their local mom n pop bookstore We all complain about the power of the large corporations, but unless we put our $ where our mouth is were just making the problem worse, who cars if it costs an extra $5, I'm sure most of you can spare it

right, maybe with less money Hollywood will copy it's foreign counterparts and substitute plot and characters for expensive special effects as I recall the original Star Wars had no budget and was both good and vary profitable...
Actually, apple has had always had good stuff like this, everybody just sees the price and doesn't bother to check the specs
Also Mac's do have a longer life then most other computers Iv worked w/ I once read a quote that said a mac has a useful life of 8-10 years, at that I laughed my head off, until I realized I wuz reading it on my PPC from 95(only thing that's gone out in that time is the monitor...)
Can't any of you think of anything other than pr0n? It was the first thing that came to my mine to, but this technology has great potential for VR and computer interfaces.

I wouldn't claim to know more about computers then an unquestionable god of them like you, but just because it's a computer doesn't mean it has to be hard to use Personally I like the fact that all I have do is say "check my web comics" and they all pop up obedentaly
I'm sure there are some mac users who can't cut and paste or use a browser, but most of us(and especially the one on/.) know what we're doing

It's a vary good read, but it brings up a few problems w/ this concept
what happens after your copied, do you kill the body, if not then who has legal rights over your estate ext... and that's not even getting into the morality of the process
