eMusic was an awesome service for finding new music back when it was 15 bucks a month for unlimited downloads. The change in eMusic just seemed to be huge to me. "Unlimited" (actually around 2000 songs) to 40 a month for the same price? Hmm...
As an A&M Student I think that had something to do with most students casting Absentee Ballots. If everyone at this university voted in Brazos County it would go to Bush.
The school network here has been getting attacked about once a week for the last month. I am really tired of the internet going down and getting 60% packet loss this often.
I am not sure why we would be getting DoS attacks at a major university. The people who run resnet have a site that says what a current problem is. Their solution to DoS attacks appears to be waiting them out. When the problem becomes "solved" the "solution" normally states "DoS attack has finished." I wish they would try something that would prevent them. Stupid CIS...
This is funny because in my senior government class someone actually asked "How many electoral votes does Canada get?" She wasn't making a joke either.
Ahh... my generation, the future of America. Scary huh?
This would be very useful if you have an unbootable windows partition. I had problems with my logon file in XP once. I had replaced it to try something and ended up hosing my system. I had the file backed up but I couldn't use the Windows XP command line recovery because it couldn't logon and I couldn't copy it back over in Linux because of poor NTFS support. This would help people being able to fix the same or similar problems.
Oh, I forgot, the California is on the LEFT coast.
That's funny I always thought it was the west coast. Nice try making fun of the left though. As many other posts have pointed out the right wingers haven't been helping the national budget much.
Donnie Darko is amazing. I would say its one of my favorite kinda underappreciated films. Very well done.
Another good underappreciated film is Being John Malkovich.

Is it really possible that the RIAA would get I2 itself banned or restricted? Somehow I can't see that happening...
I meant "tax" instead of "take".... Leave me alone...
Can you take interstate commerce? They have a case for all those Wisconsin based web businesses... Are there any Wisconsin based download services?
I had issues with USB 2.0 with my iPod as well. It works great with Firewire though.
PSP = PlayStation Portable
DS = Dual Screen

Damnit and those were supposed to be my "good 'ol years"... That's probably why you don't remember them...
But even then CIS was stupid... Nothing's changed there!
Yeah, not much is allowed to change around here. They seem to hate anything new.
I figured it was either that or because of a certain website hosted on campus.

From what I recall the X-box reads a disc differently. I can't remember any details though.
Thats why it is free dude!
They both had the same background. They both have a high school education!
Wait... Slashdot readers still read the articles?
Did you not see 2 Fast 2 Furious? Stickers arn't enough anymore! You need ground lighting!
The sentinals are coming! Hmmp, people tell me the Matrix isn't real.
but they do use gasoline and we really should work on cutting back on our dependance on fossil fuels.

I clicked on tubgirl... I will be scarred for life. Please god sensor it...
Actually it might have been the stupidest thing until you showed up.
This is kinda interesting; living in the midwest I have to say that there isn't much for technology here though.
actually, the shocking thing would be a sequel to Dude Wheres My Car!
