Well they have to get both things right now don't they? I'd love to own a powerbook for a few things to dink around with, but not enough to spend the money on.
Give me price and the power, and you got a new customer.
Uh that's cool and all. I'm doing the same thing with my Xbox though.;)
It's sitting in my living room connected to a Wireless adapter and my stereo receiver. It plays movies too~
Although I can't brag that setting it up was easy though...
$125 for used Xbox + $95 for 120 gig seagate hard drive + $35 for wireless acess point
Um, RIAA is giving them the Date and the IP address. It really can't be hard to do a search for the IP address and who had it at that time. I hate Telco's, but I'll pick the lesser evil here.
Cheating is cheating, it's too bad a small time cheat instead of a big time cheat got busted, but you were still cheating. ANYBODY cheating ruins the game for others.
Do a byte check on a file? Or a Checksum or something along those lines? I'm not familiar with the program, if it runs off another PC and just sniff's the packets, well nothing they can really do that I know about...
Bigger hard-drive, Wireless networking? More ram? It's got 64megs which is a bit lacking. Easier for development? Better lighting/AI/effects/etc require better hardware. Even on the Xbox a couple games can get a bit of a slowdown with the awesome effects. Quieter, more features like VCD/SVCD player, etc? Better security to stop modding?
I disagree with Americans producing subpar RPG's, but it's just personal taste.(KOTOR is my favorite RPG by far to date, without a doubt)
American's for the most part like online and multiplayer games, As do South Korean's. Japanese I don't think are so much into them, they like their RPG's. I'm pretty sure Japanese really don't care for FPS at all, which are just huge in the US.
From the looks of it they just have a painted Xbox with a switch. I didn't see any proof that they have actually done this. Let alone testing it with games. Must likely just scam/attention thing. Or they just switched the xbox with a PC Motherboard, CPU, etc.
Sudeki is another big one.
True Fantasy Live Online(Change the title please) is a MMORPG and is actually looking pretty good. I personally like the cartoonish look of it./shrug
There is a couple other RPG's, but I think Fable and Sudeki are going to be HUGE. KOTOR kicked ass too.

$200?! I bought a DVD-R/W in febuarary for around $200 and it was a pioneer. You can get them for around $100 now, I see adds for them all the time.
You notice this is apple.slashdot.org? Prepare for the onslaught of -flamebait!
I think I've seen this ad before...
MSN's upstream isn't all that great? 256K up for DSL through Qwest/MSN. Or they just don't want to piss MS off?
With $500K in his pocket, he will be now.
How do you "steel" data? This is curious, you could make yourself rich possibly.

Your paying for my lawyer? If so, I'm in! Woo! Can we sue the RIAA in hawaii though?
What makes it interesting is the privacy factor. While not part of the nerd world, the nerd world is sure as hell interested in their privacy.

From what I understand Xbox is the easiest to develop for. And the Gamecube could be easy, but it is the most expensive to develop for.

Uh Xbox with the HD pack outputs DTS, and almost all their games support it. And the only PS2 game that supports DTS is GTA:VC(I believe)
I've heard Kangroos are good at not hitting Koala's like human drivers tend to?

What about the % of Linux installers who switched from Windows?

Xbox is pushing Xbox live alot, almost all Xbox commercials mention Xbox live somewhere.
I'm impatient.

Most hardcore gamers already have all the systems. In my case 3 xbox's, 2 ps2's and a GC.
Japan is the only place Gamecube is beating Xbox I believe.
