It's been that way in TX for years. This is a right to work state and anyone...ANYONE...can be put on salary & not paid for overtime. The flipside was always that jobs, like IT where you know you do alot of OT, always paid more to compensate. I was wondering why everyone was freaking out over that bill when it went thru then realized it was all Democrats & it was just an anti-Bush thing that would blow over. I'm like this guy...I love getting paid more $$ even when I don't do the OT.
Now they can send us to war on claims that they have photos of chemical weapons labs in whatever country. But of coarse we can't see them, the photos are all classified.
Don't fall for the media blasting of current administration. Before it is blacked out, I challenge you to find a WMD sitting out in plain sight in any country in a satellite image. They're not like the family car. You don't just leave them out in plain sight. The Cuban missile crisis was during a time when citizens couldn't just look at satellite imagery and they gladly ran the images on television. It's obvious this has nothing to do with the WMD subject so please try not to start a flame war with liberal comments like this.
I do. Things like this are the only things politicians remember when it comes to fund allocations...sigh. And they don't think of it as they need more $$ to keep this from happening. They see it as incompetence for not being able to succeed on what they have and cut funding even further most of the time.
Michael Moore is too much of a Bush Basher and leaves too much out from other administrations that were actually involved more than the current administration. If you want a less biased version of this, download '9/11 the road to tyranny' by Alex Jones. He goes back further than the Bush administration and covers much of the same material without the democratic viewpoint. Its freely distributable from infowars.com. Yeah I know some people will call him a right wing nut...and some of the information is stretching it...but so is Michael Moore & his left wing bias. If you see both its easier to decide for yourself. FYI the 9/11 thing is on Kazaa and is about 1 1/2 hrs long.
Some DVDs use that as easter eggs. The first releases of "The Matrix" would show the matrix flowing very faintly on the screen if you watched it at 1X reverse.
Starfleet command...isn't that the one where it all takes places in 2 dimensional space? And if you read the forums they did that because it would be too difficult for players otherwise? ugh. I have that sitting on a shelf somewhere. If it had been 3D I would have loved it.
That was one of the biggest disappointments in a game ever for me. I played 1 all the time, still play 2, and was upset with 3. There is a loooooong list of things i hated about it. I'm bad with names (especially alien) so when I had to vote, I didn't know what race I was voting for/against. I hate starlanes. And I REALLY hate not being able to control production. I couldn't even get it to build a damn colony ship.
True...but not always. In my area of the country there were so many unemployed IT people that the pay was "decent" at best. Time between contracts sometimes reached several months so the overall pay rate ended up somewhere around minimum wage without benefits.
Somehow I get the feeling that they don't count the massive # of IT people forced to start contracting with a huge turnover rate. The IT people with permanant jobs that pay well are hanging on for dear life.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN--Capella University, one of the nation's most heavily trafficked institutions of online learning, issued a stern disciplinary e-mail message to the members of the disorderly Alpha Sigma Sigma online fraternity Monday.
"Alpha Sigma Sigma has not only broken the rules included in each distance learner's Online Application User Agreement, but they have also continually thwarted our efforts to create a serious online-learning community and an inclusive e-campus," Capella Dean of Students Theodore Albertson said. "This rowdy fraternity has been a thorn in the school's side for years, and frankly, we've had enough."
Why not just make a new group to sensationalize. I don't even know why they have to separate themselves. Journalism should only be a story about the story and the journalist should be a name at the end of the column.
Well, by your logic, you'd think counterfeiting is okay too - after all, it's only copying.
You can make photo copies all you want. Its what you do with it that makes it illegal or just for fun. Now that I think about it...maybe I'll make copies of $100 bills and wallpaper my cubicle.
I'm still on the right and say the documents were forged! ;)

Its a cardboard decoy like in Blazing Saddles. Don't you see it?
Bush needs to go down to that agency wearing his chaps & bust some heads. Treaty busting? wtf?

I wanna be thanked for kicking people too!
Hey I'm on the right. It wasn't because he was in Vietnam. It was because he voted for the parachute funding before he voted against it.
Its not the fall. Its the sudden stop at the end. I lean towards it being the ground.

speaking of....when is episode 3 supposed to come out? Anyone have an idea? I haven't seen movies in awhile & haven't seen previews lately.
That would mean that VCRs don't exist?
No it means they're unconscious.

With 5 billion to choose from you would think this really stood out from the other billions of possible candidates.
Don't forget the 1% who believe they will be overlords and welcome them.
ROFL! I noticed that too. Even if he was talking about sides it would be 6
Because they're using that low-grade legalized marijuana and code weird.

FreeOrion is another one. I was disappointed when they decided to put the starlanes in that everyone hated in Master of Orion 3.

Why not? They already have specific attention drawn to journalists who are gay.
