You don't believe anyone. You don't believe the government, because they lie. You don't believe Assange, because although he's done some good things, he's also done some bad things. You don't believe your friend, because he might be clueless.
You look at the evidence. If someone doesn't present evidence, it's the same as if they've proven nothing.
Whether it's 'histiorical' or 'ethical' is one thing......laws have changed since LBJ. I was merely pointing out that Trump's kids could come under attack, even if Trump himself doesn't.
The best students are streamed into elite schools and most of the students are given obedience training to make them docile wage slaves, easily handled prison inmates, and obedient consumers who will buy the right soap and vote for the right political candidates, just the way the ads tell them to behave.
If that is the purpose of public education, then it needs to die a quick death.
If you are a teacher and that is what you try to do, then you should be fired immediately.
You speak as though kids were dogs. Education is not 'behavior training.'
Do you really think the NSA protects anyone against hackers? We've already seen that they would rather keep their own surveillance capability instead of fixing bugs, at times even making encryption weaker......
Let them learn about the old days when there was nothing to do on Sundays but watch guys throw a weirdly shaped ball around. Let them learn tech by 'rebelling' against your wishes, "Don't go into to tech, go outside and sports!"
Yeah, I straight-up disagree with you on this topic. We're on opposite sides here, in full disagreement. I completely oppose you, and you do likewise. Sorry about that.
Would you eat at an unregulated restaurant if it meant you had a chance of getting food poisoning every time you ate there?
I literally feel more concerned about food poisoning in a typical taxi than a typical Uber. Add to it that Uber drivers never try to rip you off by driving a longer route. And then there's the biggest issue: Uber drivers are actually willing to come pick me up, but taxi drivers are not.
It took me a long time before I realized the Beatles song "Back in the USSR" was talking about Georgia the country, not Georgia the state. Song made a lot more sense after that.
That would make sense, except they couldn't hold on to the presidency or the senate.
(The answer is they gerrymandered it, fwiw. And actually, as a matter of darwinistic politics, those who refuse to gerrymander will lose out to those who do).
The laws about Presidential exemption have not changed, however.
Those laws don't cover non-presidents.

Note: but his children are not.
How much is the US going to risk war with China over Taiwan?
When it comes to Trump, your guess is as good as mine.
Sure I can think of reasons why not. They're not all that compelling.
Because they don't want to risk war with America. You don't find that reason at all compelling? Really?
If they're determined, why haven't they?
What do you think? Can you not think of any possible reasons?

Worth mentioning that NewEgg does a good job being a customer friendly site. I've been happy with them a lot.

Don't patronize a company that is just bad for everyone.
They're not bad for everyone. Everyone I know who uses Uber likes them, and everyone I know who drives for Uber is happy to work for them.
Clearly you are an exception to my experience, but I kind of doubt you use taxis very often either.
Oil powers cars, not so much power plants. You should be blaming 'big coal.'
genocide during the Reign of Terror.
Really? Against who?
They are hemorrhaging billions annually,
I really wonder how they can be losing so much money, considering they take quite a chunk of each fare from drivers. What are they spending it all on?

Guess they'll have to use Beautiful Soup. Do some web scraping.
How inconvenient, I guess.
There is zero, zilch, nada, evidence of significant Democratic voter fraud.
How exactly do you think Democrats were able to maintain hold on the house for so many years?
Appropriately enough, Mr Gerry, who gave his name to Gerrymandering, was of the Democratic-Republican party.
Should be something we can agree has no place in our elections whether you're conservative or liberal.
That's the point right? And yet each party (just like you) can somehow only see it when it hurts them.
Yet, look at VR now and the software available for it, after half a decade. It still hasn't moved on from simple tech demos.
The latest Resident Evil is available in VR. Reviews are, um, good, I guess.
For lovers of irony, seeing the democrats upset about voter fraud is delicious.
Next I want to see Ted Cruz hop up and say how awful filibusters are.
No problem they can just switch to human waste and make everyone happy.
