    What? I remember that my first dell laptop (Latitude c600) came with red-hat 7.3 preinstalled. When I ordered my current laptop (Inspiron 44150) I tried to convince them to send it with Linux or without OS at all. When I turned it on the first time, there was a screen saying that pressing any key would imply accepting MS-EULA. Before I pressed any key, I loaded my Laptop with RH9, so I've never seen the shortcuts.

    I think that information that helps you to protect your sensitive information shouldn't be sensitive to the point of being protected with tools wich vulnerabilities are sensitive information.

    Why do I think that? I won't tell you.. it's sensitive information.

    I have never had problems with DELL laptops. They resist a lot more than most laptops and are inexpensive enough to save money and get a new one before Complete Care expires.

    I hope that never happens.

    I don't want a horrible animated paperclip in OpenOffice or whatever i use.

    By the way, the only reason for me to 'still' use winXP is that I havn't found drivers for my DELL TrueMobile 1180, well maybe it's a better topic for Axe Slashdot.
