He has modified his aircraft to be able to fly much much further than the standard design. He's doing things with an airplane of that class that noone else is. What he's doing is amazing, especially considering his background, a worthy hero to us 'aviation nerds.'
Wouldn't someone need access to an encrypted password in order to use this? I thought that's why shadowed passwords were invented.
What's the deal here?

We've been hearing about it for years, and as far as I'm concerned, it's still just vaporware.
I always thought that use of insure was incorrect, however upon examining a dictionary I found that the two words are pretty much interchangable.
It still looks wrong.
But I believe that once they got done with IBM, they might go after vendors who sell linux. Linux developers should be able to just rewrite the code from scratch and SCO won't be able to go after anyone except those that stole the code.
At the bottom of the page, we've got IBM denying the charges, before we have the story that SCO is suing.
Guys, you really do need to get some kinda system in place for these things... Or something to indicate that this you mean to be posting 2 stories about the samething.
So, I presume that you'd like to argue that Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, etc. should be privatized - because obviously them being National Parks (which are de facto public property managed by the National Park Service) means that nobody cares about them.
They are managed by the National Park Service, they are paid to care about those places.
I would like to thank CT (Hope he reads this) for reporting this without coloring it with any personal views on the war. This time Slashdot has reported just the facts.
I know they're gonna get me for something someday that's a felony. And then they'll take away my guns. WATCH THEM TRY!
No dumb laws or overkill enforcement is gonna keep my from living my life.
Alright, yeah I'm sure it will stop my from living my life.:-(
What can a guy do? I do agree that they should have been stopped for stealing bandwidth. And possibly made to pay $$$ for it.
Yea, I know you hate my blah blah, and you're gonna blank blank me if you ever see me. Don't bother posting about that. I already know.
OF COURSE I'm not getting laid, I haven't even been on a date in over a year and a half.
Slashdot IS my sex life. CowboyNeal is my fav poll option, and hot grits are great down the pants, Natalie Portman, etc.
My family bought a Micron PC, which would randomly reboot, even when you weren't using it. One day the problem suddenly worsened, and then the computer refused to boot. The electrolytic capacitors on the motherboard had swollen, and some had broken open and leaked.
This may have been partially due to the extremely cheap power supply. I believe it was only rated at 145 watts, or something awful like that.
Check out the quality of these kinds of things before you guy buying the cheaper brands.
I've kind of been out of the loop for a while, since when are Gnome and KDE window managers? Last time I used either, they didn't control placement of windows and such. Though I do remember Gnome doing backgrounds.

Post that information to Slashdot.
Our mail system already runs on Linux.
I think you mean Canadian Justice...

This kind of thing has been out for quite a while, I've seen them on a PBS rennovation show, and the Osbournes.
Douglas Adams actually (at leasted partly) wrote many other Who episodes.

How much more CPU power does ogg use compared to mp3 or WMA?
