    Sorry, this is off topic, but does anyone know where the term Zap Dingbat comes from? There is a font included with Windows called Zapf Dingbats.

    We've had loads of problems with this font in the tech support department I work for, that's why I was curious about it. Haven't seen the term anywhere else. Tried to search for it on Google but didn't find anything.

    Because in most inner city, US schools, kids have no access to technology at all, asshole. This is without a doubt, a good thing. Or maybe you just like the idea of kids growing up with no technology education?

    If you would have read my comment, I wasn't saying that it isn't a good thing to build the school.

    If you would have read it I was saying that as Microsoft is only providing project managers, not any funding, it is questionable why this is so amazing.

    I wouldn't want to have a Microsoft project manager for free!

    I would say the article makes it look like Microsof is paying for the school, but it only gives project management, training and support. Which probably only will relate to Microsoft technology.

    In what way is this such a beutifully good thing?

    What kind of security check is it to write your signature after using your credit card?

    I mean the signature is on the back of the card!

    It's like having the password to your computer written on a piece of paper stuck to your monitor...

    No matter what he does, he can't please everyone. According to Tiffiany Mork, senior abuse engineer at Allegiance Internet, a very thick skin is a requirement for an abuse-desk worker. Her typical day includes verbal harassment, screaming, threats, and "all manner of nasty things."

    Like that is different from working in any other kind of helpdesk!

    I think Cisco should have stuck to their core business and not try to diversify. This move will only be good for those few customers that will gain a Cisco access point for 1/2 of the price right now.

    In the end it will probably just help create a new MS-like giant. I've never been a fan av any kind of corporate giant.
