I'm against dictators of any political persuasion because they're human. Humans can never be trusted no matter how benevolent they seem in the beginning. I'm a Christian and I have my King in whom I can put total trust. For the meantime what we have now is probably as good as we can get, IF we follow the Constitution.

I'm 55 and I've always dreamed in color. I didn't watch color TV until I was out of high school. Sounds like they need to go back to the old drawing board and start the study again, maybe with more people and a wider range of ages. Still seems like a waste of time and money to me.

From interferencezones.com: If these companies get their wish, you could be watching the big game, your favorite movie or breaking news when your pristine digital picture freezes, pixelates and the sound shuts off. Not exactly the ideal way to watch television.

My digital channels do that randomly now. Yeah, it's probably a Charter cable problem and not interference, but it's irritating as hell when you're trying to watch something. Are these devices in question going to make it worse?

  15. Most drivers can't drive on Keeping Older Drivers Behind the Wheel · · Score: 1

I've driven over three million miles, mostly for business, on every type of highway, and in all kinds of weather. It's apparent that most drivers simply can't drive well enough to be safe. Every day I see dangerously under-skilled drivers. They speed, change lanes without giving a signal, drive too slowly, wander all over the road, pass going up hills & around curves, miss turns, miss exits, etc.. Driver education classes haven't helped a bit. The number one job of a driver is to PAY ATTENTION! Are you the driver or a passenger?

I'd like to see older drivers have to take a road test every five years after their 60th birthday, plus be required to have their eyes and ears checked every year. And I'd like to see every driver take a real road test to get their license in the first place. It's gotten to the point where if the person giving the exam makes it back alive, the license is granted. That's the problem.
