A spreadsheet on a 10" screen is simply impossible to use.
We use a notebook with a 17" screen in the field because we have to be able to read what's on the freaking screen and enter data into those tiny cells. A tablet just wouldn't work.
Just buy a good DSLR and spend the bulk of your money on a fast long lens. A 300mm f2.8 telephoto lens will cost you a lot, but it's worth it for wildlife photography. Either that or just go to the zoo.
This morning there will be children standing on the side of roads waiting for their school buses in the dark. Great, right? Moving DST to March 11 was a terrible idea.
If we have to have it, why not start it about a month from now?
If you like GMC trucks, you can have my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 company truck (if my boss doesn't mind). Cruise control won't hold a steady speed even after repair; wind noise around both windows even after repair; and the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. I've tried my best to get the company to buy good trucks, but they always go with crap from "government motors".
I can't see me driving it 45K miles a year. I'll go crazy long before that simply from the freaking wind noise!
The U.S. isn't safe for ANY kind of business. The government we have now is so anti-business, a person would be a fool to start one. They will either shut you down, tax you to death, or put so many nit-picking requirements on you that you'll have to go under.
You'd be better off with a photographer's vest. You can wear it over a shirt in warmer weather, or wear it under a jacket in colder weather. It will hold everything on Timmy's list and more.
Keep this in mind - the right wing and the left wing are attached to the same vulture.
George Wallace had it right decades ago when he said there wasn't a dime's worth of difference between the two parties (though he was a real asshole, too).
You must have been asleep for the last three years. Obama has wholeheartedly embraced what Bush was doing and has taken Federal powers, and thus his own, to new levels.

Don't forget lawyers!
Well, they're almost human . . .

We need to lock up Mr. Matthew Liao for a long, long time. He's a perfect example of what's wrong with the world, a real danger.
Oh, and just to add to his misery while in prison - make him eat meat three meals a day.

Asteroid 2012 DA14
Size: 60-meters
Arrives in February 2013
How close? 27,000 km (16,700 miles)
That's a little too close for comfort!
1. Lookouts not paying attention
2. Ship was going too fast
3. Rivets and steel were sub-par
4. Pure arrogance
5. Captain was a dunce
6. Etc
Like a woman talking on the phone while driving an SUV full of children - an accident looking for a place to happen.
Wow! The Catholic church is getting very high-tech!
Ecclesiastical rules coming straight at you in a vortex.
Duck, sinners, duck!!
So . . . . . care to tell us how many times you voted last time?
You have to show an ID to do damn near anything in this country, so why shouldn't it be required to do the most important thing a citizen can do?
And, lastly, prove that requiring a photo ID keeps anybody from voting. If you can, you're doing better than any court has done to date.
It is "bald-faced", not "bold-faced". You're just as wrong as he is.

I never cared for urban yodeling anyway.
It's that cereal Mikey likes!

I thought "straight" was the default, therefore no choice needed.
"hundreds of thousands"
Damn! How big is that stadium?!?
Bingo! We have a winner!
You hit the nail on the head, FridayBob.
Science needs religion and religion needs science.
Science is really good at how, but can never tell us why.
Religion is really good at why, but its explanation of how is lacking.
There has to be some deep unexplainable mystery or everybody goes crazy. We can't know everything.

More insurance claims because more people live in hurricane-prone and tornado-prone areas. Bigger claims because of inflation.
Technically, yes. :)
Lots of people in the same age group are married and have children, so you could say they're grown up even if they're not mature yet.
You must have been asleep for the last three years. Obama has wholeheartedly embraced what Bush was doing and has taken Federal powers, and thus his own, to new levels.
That's actually the privacy policy of the United States Federal government.
And getting worse every day . . . .
I live next door to CowboyNeal and use his unprotected wifi.
