Kind of reminds me when I was in high school. I had an mp3 of "Hack the Planet" (from H2K) on my network drive, and the school deleted it, locked my network drive, and called me to the office for having "illegal mp3's". I never got an apology though...
In British Columbia, DSL service is available in almost ever city with more than a couple thousand people, including places like Quesnel, which is more or less in the middle of nowhere.
The astronauts were not the first Americans to land on foreign soil after a trip in space because U.S. tycoon Dennis Tito beat them to that distinction.
(If you don't know the background story, the US put tariffs on European steel, saying that it's subsidized and whatnot. The WTO found that it wasn't, the US was wrong, and European countries are now allowed to sue the US for billions. One story is here.)
The idea of the forestry being subsidized is just the US government's excuse.
The real problem with FPS game sequels (especially those who are mostly single player) is that no matter how hard the authors try, its never going to be as good as the first
I've never understood the fascination of combining digital products together. Cell phones with the Internet, laptops with cameras, etc. The way I see it, if you want a laptop, buy a laptop. If you want a camera, buy a camera. If you want both, buy both. Not only do you get a better selection by doing it that way, but you'll probably end up with 2 good products as opposed to 1 mediocre hybrid.
Just my $0.02 anyways.
Obviously you've never done accounting.
I can see someone here really doesn't like Homestar Runner.
...until they start injecting this into people to "reduce terrorism".

But look at Canada. Canada is even more spread out that the US and it has far better broadband access (than the US, not Korea).
but couldn't black holes, neutron stars, and whatnot account for some of this missing matter?
I thought the dryer went to Narnia.
8 times 6 is 48

Just like the softwood lumber tariff?
What I'd like to know is if the RIAA plans on attacking Americans only. I have a funny feeling the answer is "no"...
The "crash" part is just for looks. It would still crash with
Man, that's the funniest thing I've read on Slashdot in a while. Thank you. (now watch me get modded down with you)
Ok, ok, I'm sure there are plenty of good reasons for this, but I still like my idea more. I want to play my UT2003 after a nuke attack dammit!
*pats you on the head and gives you a cookie*
Ever played System Shock 2?
Spiders aren't until the fifth level or so.

At least, that's what it seems like with all the cross-border lawsuits.
My point is that the US government is part of "everyone", is it not?
