I'm willing to bet all that spyware will be conviniently imported from a previous install if not reinstalled by default, and firefox will be broken as a bonus feature.
when you install it ask if you already have an account. so you can install it on as many computers as you want, as long as you have an account to play.
and you can only login from 1 computer per account.
You have enough sense of legal jargon to read between the lines, section this sub-section that, but you dont have the sense to not buy a used MMO without the account thats attached to the CD key?(Even though I think they dont allow selling accounts.)

Step 3: Release a rendered video and laybel it a "working Demo". And if anyone questions it Sue them.
Step 4: Have an 'Exculisve' interview with an online gaming site; GameSpot, IGN, etc.
Step 5: Always use 'When its Done' as your release date. (I.e. http://www.3drealms.com/duke4/)
Step 6: when people question your relase date thow up some screen shots.
Step 6.5: If they suspect too much claim your source code was stolen; this will give you atleast a years worth of spare time.(HL2)
Step 6.5.5: If that doesnt work claim that you're development team is planning to take the game in a diffrent direction to better compete with the current market (I.e. Starcraft Ghost)
Step 6.5.5.X: If none of that works, claim the development team has left the project and turned it over to another group of developers; even if you alone are the development team (I.e. Counter Strike:CZ)
Step 7: announce that you're holding closed beta, and plan on an open beta within the year. Create a beta forum and fill it with fake beta tester post. allow public posting and start a flame war about nerfing this and that(most Trolls dont need to play games to start a flame war)
Step 8: When your teachers or critics/reporters investigate your progress and claim you have not done anything; Sue them. (I.e. Phantom)
Step 9: When you have something of an interactive App, send it to the major gaming sites and magazines as a beta. Provide them a pack of Cds and an installer that takes forever to load, show opening CG and then crash the game. Demand a good review based on what they've seen and demand GOTY or you'll sue. when they question the bugs remind them its just a beta and they will be fixed on release, and give them the exclusive scoop that you've Gone Gold.
Step 10: If/When you do release a retail package pretend that the cross platform versions(mac/linux) are on their way, along with the patches to the many crashes/bugs/crappy servers; at which time you also promote your up-and-comming expansion pack and sequal! (I.e. Blizzard & WoW)

Theme parks in orlando, FL have been using this for a while now. I remember being told I couldnt go on a rollercoaster with my camera bag and that I would have to use one of those lockers.
Its more of a hassle than anything.
Sure you dont need to remember which locker you have the key too, but when your cousin changes her mind and needs to get her purse, unlike the good old lock and key system, you CANT give her your thumb while you wait in line.
I've always wanted to give it a try, I've done limited betas before(Planet-Side, WC3) so I know I'll be working with incomplete work etc.
Anyone know who I should contact about having plenty of spare time to test games?

Play FPS games and racing sims has improved my reaction time.
I'd also say the level of gore and violence has some what desensitised me to violence. I remember watching 'Black Hawk Down' with my friends, and while those who played quake and BF1942 were laughing it up the non FPS friends and the rest of the crowd glared at or glanced with that "wtf is wrong with you" look. Sorry but if you've made a couple head shots, you've seen them all.
War isnt fun but this is just entertainment.

You might want to read "The Achievement of Desire" by Richard Rodriguez. It explains alot about academic students who are brilliant, but can only exist as students. This text will help you out MORE THAN SLASHDOT.
I'd say the best way for the student to develope social skills would be to develope his intrest in a positive way, then introduce the student to students with a similar intrest in a non-competitive form of interaction. Then find and introduce the half-geek & half-socialable (trendy, popular, however you want to describe them) kids. Or just let them hang out with some cool adults far away from the corprate world as possable.
Perhaps the student can find some other non academic intrest. Their goal is to understand that social skills and communication are a vital part of their lives. (what good is being able to mathamatically explain everything in the universe if you cant communicate or share it with everyone else. or worse refuse to share.)
Quake did wonders for me! (although Doom did raise concerns among teachers.) Never under estimate the power of Quake Con:0)
Actually Here in south florida theres a couple of bars that do Porno Karaoke, where people step up on stage and mimic or impromptu all the sounds of pr0n
Maybe you dont see too many "broken" hondas because they usually just shatter on impact when hit by most american cars and especially SUVs.
I've seen a Mustang Crash at 80Mph and the drivers just get up and walk away with only their pride damaged. These guys actually took the car home and reconstructed their front end, by hand with chains and heat! I doubt you would be able to do that with a Welded-shut Honda... even if it didnt shatter on imapct.
At least all your engine parts would stay together.
Why dont gamers, say age 18-whatever. Form a society? This society could do things just like this bad games list. WE could make a list of BAD Parents to avoid, and not allow them to buy games for their kids....

PG means Parent Guidence maybe we should have this plastered next to the game rateings. Its not games that make bad children its bad parents. I've been playing video games since I was like 4 or 5, Im 19 almost 20 and I've yet to kill someone because of games.

oh and good job who ever brought up the point about where these kids get the money for $29-$50 USD games. those systems must have come from somewhere.
On my last visit to taiwan, which isnt that far away from japan, Lan-cafes or lan party pubs seemed to be a booming biz, and most people go play there than at the arcades just because you pay the hourly rate and play whatever games you want. amazing how diffrent these two gamer cultures are when separated by a little water. Oh and last I check CS is still quite popular, but I dont think they should have payed to put their little name on it...
