If it were me I'd make sure, no matter how "high up" the position was, that it was something I found interesting and fufilling. Even if the job is less than challenging, but is part of a field you find interesting and enjoy, I think you will have a better chance of sticking with it. You will, most likely, have the ability to work up to something better (aka more challenging) in that field once you're already there.
What I'm saying is, don't go for a harder job just because its harder. Choose something that you can see yourself doing 5-10 years from now and begin where you have to.
Of course, I've yet to even graduate with my B.S. in computer science:)
Someone please explain to me why, if you knew of the existance of Firefox 1.0 (or 1.0.1 now), you would still choose to download a bastardized version of it from Netscape?
Let's be honest. You're going to get the same rendering engine (at least for the most part, probably with more problems though) but with a bloated skin, no theme support, no extension support, and the Netscape icon.
I don't understand why the headline had to read iPod instead of mp3. Why not just say you can listen to the mp3? I think more people listen to mp3's from other players (be it computer or a Creative product, etc...) than the iPod.
Perhaps I'm just silly, but I don't think of the iPod as soon as I find an mp3 or a new sound.
I just bought my 802.11g card/router and now this?!? Once you buy computer parts and accesories you should just cut yourself off from the rest of the world so you don't know what better/cheaper stuff has come out. Because I seriously almost get migraine headache when I realize something out now is 1/2 the price and 4x the performance.
Forgive my ignorance when it comes to photography, but what resolution do we need to reach to achieve 35mm quality pictures. I know my 2.1 megapixel camera can take pictures at 1600x1200 and when those are printed using my HP Photosmart printer they look 'near' perfect.
I'm assuming we're passed 35mm now then, and that these cameras are just going above and beyond what anyone has seen?
I doubt this will happen. We would overpopulate the Earth FAR to quickly unless a system was started that limited the number of children you could have (probably one per 4 generations) if everyone lived 600 years.
Of course, after about 250 years I might be sick of life and just end it all myself. Suicide_rates++;
Well, given from what I've read you need to get a huge file of the hash to even run this hack. Wouldn't your firewall protect you against someone DOWNLOADING your password hash table?
Because of faults in NT machines I've had to use Linux boot disks on many occasions to get into and change/verify passwords.
I guess I never considered any of my Microsoft machine secure, not that anyone would want my g0at pr0n anyway.
Why try and guess the password with computer power if you can just open the hash and look at it using a little linux install and app that fits on a floppy or CD?
This makes perfect sense. Because Reloaded will probably be all but out of the theaters by the time Revolutions comes out. Now people (not./ users, obviously) who want to watch Reloaded to brush themselves up on the story have to go buy/rent the DVD.
When you get into doing some nasty template stuff (nested, etc...).NET breaks.
What are the main differences between 2002 and 2003? Perhaps I've got 2002 and 2003 fixes the issues.
More changes to the standard so that the compilers can't keep up! Microsoft Visual Studio (6 or.NET) still can't handle templates correctly. For half the stuff I do I have to use gcc or VS shits itself.
I guess gcc will always be what I use.
They installed an eight year old fiber opitical system called ICAN. Hahaha.
I bet my works 100 megabit network is more reliable than this shit will be.
I live in Washington and this is a huge relief to me. I hate the idea that a kid who wants to play GTA:VC can't because he isn't hold enough. Gimmie a break?
Just last week I observed an owner of a video game shop NOT sell GTA to a 13 year old because "If I sell you this I can get in a lot of trouble." As it turns out the law wasn't even in EFFECT yet and won't be for some time.
The ignorance of people amazes me. Just because you hear about a new law on TV does NOT mean you have to follow it, yet...
So, they want me to buy a set top computer that runs XP, won't let me change anything, and can only play games I download off the net. All this for only $400 and a monthly fee?
Wow, or I could spend that money making my OWN set top box which could:
Connect to my wireless network to stream movies and music from my basement fileserver.
Play games from the vast library that exists for PC (read: free if you're smart)
Allow me to play older console games via emulators and a gamepad pro
Hell, since I've got this little fast box I built I could also use it for LANS.

I think it's totally worth it, ha.
NHL stands for the National Hockey League.

Madden 2005 is a NFL branded football game.
Microsoft hasn't released a game recreating either sport with the '05 moniker and will not.
You should spend more time reading ESPN.com and IGN.com instead of

He should be adding better outdoor support to the DOOM ]|[ engine, not doing this silly rocket business...

GAH.

So if I've got a file called "HalfLifemappack.zip" on my server they are going to assume that I have an pirated version HL on my webspace/ISP?
What are the factors that decide if a file is really in violation of the DMCA? I can see lots of lameness coming from this type of system.
How did it get so many lines of code if it isn't very well known? Do we have one coder slaving away on this one?
It wasn't the old jews faults, it was HACKERS. Evil Republican HACKERS!
If the lecture is boring I just talk on AIM and read ESPN.com (assuming I've exhausted ./ for the time being).
I just always liked having a laptop because I could type my notes and didn't have to worry about readability later.
Now if I could only afford a tablet PC...
Why would we do this. We've got MONTANA to fill up.

It looks like a laptop for midgets. I guess that's not bad. Even Willow needs to check his email.

It was a joke. The fact that you took the time to reply and call me a retard is hilarious.

This is why you should make your laptops out of plastic like Dell. They're just trying to keep consumers safe!

Sounds like this will sell well to me.... 8-|I don't know... the best accounting/payroll OS I've seen so far is OpenVMS !
