Lets face it, people using those huge connections are mostly downloading very large files for p2p networks. I know there are other uses, but I say generally. Now that the door have been opened for companies to held liable for the actions of users, its only a matter of time before ISP are killing your connection and turning you over to the RIAA or the like so they can save themselves a law suit.
Disagree all you want. Hollywood WILL get their way. After that, whats the point of a insane fast connection....oh let me guess, for "research papers"? It's a sad time in america.
I really dont agree with a lot of what this guys says, but now and again, he's right.
I do know that I have a "friend" who downloads much from BT and has yet to incounter one of these zillions of viruses running around. But maybe he's just lucky.
It seems to me that when you have a system where by you register at a site to get the trackers, the trackers are rated, it becomes much harder to proliferate your malware. Normally these trackers are removed or rated down.....at least thats what my friend says.
As I recall, some years back the russians tried this very thing. They didnt make much progress though. It was plauged with problems from the onset. They found out the hard way that it's better to do this on land.
Who knows though, maybe this new team will learn from what russia messed up.
Not sure its a very good idea to go poking holes in the earth though. Being as we dont actually know whats down there, we don't actually know what would really happen...still, it would be cool
There is a timing gear is some cars. Also, cars with a manual distro use an actual gear to turn the distro to deliver the spark.
Most cars dont of course use a timing gear but rather a timing chain or belt....doesnt mean they dont exist though does it?
bluetooth was a "protocol". I know that Bluetooth has protocols. Such as Link manager, base band, L2CAP, RFCOMM and things like that. Bluetooth is made of several layers. In fact the software stack is listed as whole seperate product. That part of Bluetooth would be the same. What would change is the physical layer. (RF Link). Think of the RF side as a cable....thats it. I'm sure they would add some new profiles though. Maybe even beef up the VDP profile. Anyhow,Bluetooth is not a headset protocol, its a cable replacement technology.
Dangit, I don't know what to think.....aren't we supposed to hate France according to Dub? Stupid media...why cant they just tell us what to think once and for all!
into the ocean. The hubble has been great no question about it! But, there is no reason to keep dumping money into. Best to get something else/something better. It's like those people who have an old car. Sure, back in its day, it was great. Top of the line. But now, you always have to put more and more money into it. I know your attached to the car, but in the long run its going to cost you more. Even a cheap civic is going to be better then your 1982 audi. There comes a point when the cost outways the benifits.
sooner rather then later. I would rather they come up with the end all be all PC now. That way I dont have to spend 2000 bucks every 2 years to upgrade my PC. It's getting to be waste of money. At this point I'll have to get a new 500$ E-Machine and forget the fast PC's. As time goes on the amount of transisters double, the performace difference becomes so huge from one gerneration of chips to the next that you will no longer be able to go two years without upgrading. Also, I would think that programers would have a tough time keeping pace with the new hardware. Somthing will have to change.
....a human can do things a computer will never be able to to. Period. There is much more to an essay then flow and technical aspects. There are little bits in there like cleverness that a computer cant pick up on. A computer cant tell you if something is written in a such as a way as to make it easy to understand by the reader. Things like that are important. Plus it will not be too long before someone figures out how to trick the program using another program to gernerate a nice flow of meaningless words.
While it does suck for this one guy and perhaps his place of work, it does establish some important ground work. This would enable the state to collect taxes from companies who are hiring their tech support and call centers off shore or out of state. This should be something that makes it that much harder to give my job away.
Personally, I think they should not be allowed to compress anything from LOC. This way when they say, it can hold the LOC 20000000 times over it will mean something.
Though to be honest, you can never really use it as a measurment of something since the LOC is always growing. Any time those monkeys on the hill rape us, its in there.
I would agree for the most part. Though i really started to enjoy the show towards the end...that may be because i was always wait to see Tpol and Trip have sex again....now that i think about, thats really the only reason i watched. I thought that Archer was played SOOOOOOOO bad. I dont know what happed to scott B. I didt realize he was such a crappy actor. It was just the same with voyager. The whole time i was hoping that Janeway would be killed off. Saidly, just like with this show, its never transpired. I really hate that lamer archer. Man, its like watching Dubbya (GB) as capt. So retarded. why.....do.....i...have.....to.....talk.....sooooo oo...s...l...o....w....? \
Just because you cant see an antenna sticking out doesnt mean the housing the antenna....Yeah, Im sure you would get a very nice pattern out of that. They are called internal patch antennas mate. They are made in such a way as to point AWAY from your head. Use a GSM phone and you'll be fine. They have an 8 to 1 crest factor. If you used a housing as a antenna, any time you touched it, it would change the properties. The math alone to make an antenna like that would be insane. Motorola had a hard enough time back with the v60 figuring in the load of your fingure when you naturally touched the antenna sticking out. this is several factors more complex then that.
Im only trying to say that MOST people do not see this as a concern. Yes, I actually happen to have a water cooling solution on my PC, this is a noise issue and not a heat issue however. Modder DO NOT control the direction of the market. Most people who buy a comuter only want it to work and to be cheap. Period.
really...as a consumer..who gives a crap how hot it gets? Is it fast? Does it work? those are the questions I ask. Face it, if it were actually something that normal(read non-/. type) people cared about it, then it would have been solved. It must have been just last night my GF was saying I really need a water cooler for the pc, it's so hot. Not!
hmmmm not sure about that....

" The cool thing is, it looks like the 2600 can still play cartridge games too!" Yeah, playing atari games is really cool. I have no idea why someone thinks this is cool. I guess these are the guys who are still trying to run DOS or something like that on their AMD64's.
Oh shit..turns out we forgot to install a laser on mars Plus we only have one can of this paint to repaint the sails....man...it's going to be a long ride back.
What they are trying to do in avoid what happened with Bluetooth. Interoperability between products has been a huge problem with Bluetooth since its conception. Mainly the test cases designed by the SIG did not really come close to maintaining a high degree of interoperability between different makes and models. It didn't help that the tests that were there were only CAT B tests (self declared) and did not require you to test against another manufacturer's product. What was good about 802.11 b/g, was that for the most part it worked. People want to plug it in and have it work. We all know this. There are so many wireless techs out there, that in order for one to really stand out, it MUST actually work.

I know....he did say there was NO gears at all.....there are though.

France does NOT suck no matter what FOX news tell you.

...not to move to texas. As if I needed another. As my friend Con Jr.'s dad would say, stupid hilly-billy red necks!!

I cant believe it!! That viewsonic computer runing at 10Ghz on amazon.com was real. I'm sure kicking myself for not buying it.
