Actually they are good at reversing the charges, however most will write off all the the small (less the severl thousand dollar) ones because it would cost them too much to track the theif down. I know this because my wife had a case of ID theift last year. It's amazing how little the banks care, which is why it's a "low-risk" crime. The banks are the victims (not the people who's ID was stollen) and since the banks to see it in their best interest to persue/file chages in many cases it's a low risk crime.

    Bobby Blane: What's that?

They want control so they can squeeze every last penny out of you that they can. The more control they have the more gold they get! This is why you plan won't work, almost all of it involves being happy just making a lot of money, they aren't happy unless they make ALL the money.

Sprint's contract says I can switch to ANY then currently offered plan. If I switch to a plan (I have switched to a less expensive plan when I no longer needed as many min) that requires a coontract i need to re-start my contract. So you can easily switch, to ANY plan they offer as log as you don't mind starting another contract. I'll also point out that with MOST of sprint's plans you can chose to pay an extra $10 a month and NOT have a contract. If the contracts were as harsh as you seem to think they are then more people who rebel against them. Most people don't mind them because they take into account that people might want to change their plan. (In fact it's actually BETTER for the co if you do, because now your contract has restarted and therefor is in effect longer!)
