NO. I guess you're American. See, in Denmark we're not supressed by our parents like you must be, and we're actually allowed to answer the phone. And, now we're at it, what's so wrong about stating your opinions and sharing your knowledge when you're 17? I might only be 17, but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about the world that surrounds me, unlike some kids. I actually see myself as an adult, and most people I know do too.
See, this is the best thing about living in Europe, besides the more relaxed way of living, that you don't have to be 21 to buy alcohol legally, that we don't have the NRA, that we have public transportation etc.
No, really. In my whole life (okay, I'm 17, but I can buy alcohol legally...), I've gotten a single nigerian scam letter in the mail. That's all. No telemarketing calls. Nothing. Don't ask me why. Besides that, I get about 1 spam mail every 2 weeks. I've had this email address for a little more than a year (in fact since we bought the domain), and we don't have a spam filter.
Last year I lived in Minnesota, and holy crap, I really feel sorry for you guys. For those of you who don't have the slightest clue of what this is all about (and I didn't when I came), it's like TV commercials, except you don't have to turn on the TV, they know your name, and just can't just switch to another channel. They're so fucking annoying. If I lived permanently in the states, I think I'd go without a (hard-wired) phone. I can't believe that nothing more happens on that area. It seems like all your politicians simply don't give a fuck about their voters. I mean, come on, they should at least try to enforce the laws that are made. It seems to me that the DNC registry is made just to make money. See, someone is making money on it. The guys working there. So far, I haven't seen any real results.
Okay, that's enough of this. I think I'll start laughing now.
I think (well, I'm not sure) that I was another device like this made by some guys from Norway about a year ago or so. They'd made their own to hook up to a GB, and they used mobile phones for connecting the two GB's.
I wish I was born 10 years earlier. Then I could have been cool too. But unfortunately my parents weren't thinking of me at that time. Stupid bastards.
Not always. I'm sitting here in a small village (town), Hoyt Lakes, about 60 miles north of Duluth, Minnesota. Here you can get Mediacom internet and cable TV for $40 a month, and I get roughly 0.8 MBit all the time. If I'm downloading from a server in the US, the speed most of the time is between 1.7 and 3 MBit, just a bit (hehe) higher than T1. All that for $40 a month./me is happy.
Well, I grew up on southern Zeeland in Denmark, and I had all of those things. Except for drugs, report cards(long live the danish school system) and ladies.

Then you're more lucky than me. It only took a glass of Coca Cola to make my keyboard go crazy. Okay, it was fun for a while. When you pressed Q it would write 7 characters on the screen. And that was even my favorite Olivetti keyboard.
I have to admit that sounds good... I have to check that out, once I get familiar enough with Debian to do that...
Another good thing is the Star Wars Episode I ASCII version... telnet to towel.blinkenlights.nl (port 23) and there you go!
