I really doubt most even know where China is located on a globe. The Chinese are not blocking us, they are laughing at our stupidity. The US is accumulating so much debt from China, they will soon own us lock, stock and barrel. I suggest you be nice to your new Chinese Overloads.

Why does space flight have to be safe?

These are explorers braving the new frontier.

Why must we ensure that 100% of the risk is taken away?
br> I would like to see a manned flight to one of Saturn's moons. With technology today we should have no problem doing it. But let's just tell the astronauts up front that they are going to die. Tell the public they are going to die as well to prepare them. You will still get hundreds of people willing to sacrifice their life for this journey, no doubt. And the public will love the story and watch every second of their flight with held breath. And if the astronauts should make it back by some chance miracle, they will truly be heroes.

    Any volunteers?

Yes, I was thinking the same thing.

Now someone with balls should extend this precedent by posting on the internet and in print a complete review of all the different databases: Oracle, Dbase2, Sql Server, Sybase, etc using their real names. Attach a copy of this case to the website and just prepare for the wolves to close in. My bet is the wolves back off and get scared.

The result would be a much more review friendly world, where we could start posting reviews on any products we want without fear of lawsuit. Not just databases but applications servers and much more! What a world this could be!

I just recently got my dad one of those cheap walmart computers and installed redhat 8 and staroffice and he loves it! He only dabbles with writing a few letters but he really seems to get along fine. I think overall it is a little slow compared to Microsoft Office but it has a surprising number of features you wouldn't necessarily expect from a free software product.

Kudos to Sun and the StarOffice group for creating a true Microsoft Office killer.

Yearly billing is much better than monthly billing. But lifetime billing is just absurd. It will only last for the lifetime of the average webhost which will be about 6 months probably.

I strongly recommend IrvineHosting. We are a large, reliable company that has been hosting for a long time. We offer great yearly packages and reliable service.
