Not necessarily. The speed of a system isn't completely related to the intelligence of a system. There are humans that think slower the other humans that are much more intelligent. So, speed helps, but the level of complexity isn't always related.
whats all this shit about having your cell phone ringing. i cant even hear mine ring half the time so i always have mine set to vibrate first. just turn the fuckin vibrate on and nobody will have problems. this is so simple. i never turn my cell phone off and if someone calls me i just take it out when im either done with class or when i get free time to see who called and call them back. i think of it as if i never had my cell phone, i wouldn't even have known that i was trying to be called until was done with whatever i was doing.
Not to start an argument, but most mainstream hardware devices are actually the ones that do work. It's the less-mainstream hardware that uses a not so popular chipset that you may have trouble with. For example, the Realtek chipset is a very common audio and networking chipset used by many manufacturers. nVidia I know for a fact and ATI, I believe, have created their own actual linux video drivers. So, just about any piece of hardware you get will most likely work when you plug it in. About 80% of hardware I'm guessing.
Congratulations, someone cracked the iTunes DRM. Honestly, good job. I wouldn't have been able to do it. But what would really be nice is if someone cracked the DRM on WMA files. Then, of the few songs that you can't purchase from iTunes, you could buy them from a WMA based music store and play those songs on any computer/music player too.
See, WMA is even more restricted. WMA-only music players using Windows operating systems.
The cracked iTunes DRM now allows for purchased music on ANY device capable of playing a music file. Complete compatability
Just a tidbit of info. My version of Safari seems to be v1.2. IE is still included with the freshest build of Panther, but it is no longer the default browser.
that i got two 120 gig serial ATA disks with a a new gigabyte motherboard with serial ata raid which im going to set to raid 0 so i will now have 240 gigs. isnt that cool everyone!?!
From my understanding, because at macrumors.com, some people were a little confused, is that the Windows version of iTunes had 1 million downloads and as a result iTMS, had sold 1 million songs in 3.5 days. They wern't specifying specifically that Windows users downloaded 1 million songs.
I don't know if anyone cares on bit, but I would just like to say that I go to the same high school that Anthony J. Leggett, attended, in Sidney, Ohio. Actually, there are 2 schools, the public and private one. I go to the private one...same thing;)
Yes actually, a lot of dvd's are duel layered and most of the time you don't even notice that the player is switching layers; that is if your player isn't cheep;)
The Xbox is actually very picky when it comes to reading coppied cd's. Their purpose was to keep people from using their coppied music cd's in the Xbox. But, they didn't think about cd+rw disks or dvd-+r/rw. I have experience with this and I have got _some_ cd+rw media to work and all dvd+-r/rw media I have tried has also worked.

So what if they could do this to biological materials? Would it be possible to create cells from living things?
Oh boooo hooo! - Your tears are going to short out my mp3 player.
Exactly what I was thinking. I think now I'm siding with you as well. I will say it again: Is copying and distributing big name software (e.x. Adobe/Microsoft/Emagic) right? No. Ask anyone and they will say: "Oh you cant copy that. It's illegal!"
If you want to get technical, can you call software an art? I sure know music is considered an art. So essentially they are the same thing. Why can you share and distribute one but not the other. I believe this is the answer to whether or not people should be allowed to share media. Now whether they already bought it, or not, limited to (1) backup, and all of that other rabble-snabble is kind of ridiculous.
I am generally against the position the RIAA is going about their "punishments", but this thought just hit me while reading/..
(By the way, if anyone knows, please tell me how the RIAA has the authority to sue someone over someone elses work. Does the artist become a member of the RIAA?)
Anyway... How is distributing a copy of Windows XP any different then distributing Marilyn Manson's latest hit? (Well thats what it's called in my ears.) People say that the RIAA should give up and that sharing music is alright, but what if it was the other way around and swapping of big name software was as rampant (as MP3's). Everyone knows that you can't do that and that is illegal to copy software, but its ok to swap music. Just a thought.
Note that I'm not supporting either side, just had this thought from their side. Thats all.

i read the article, thought for about a second, and called bullshit.
"finally pressed on the breaks as hard as he could and it finally stopped before a toll booth."
yeah...right. I mean, i believe it happened, but he just got where he was going much faster. he's a smart guy.

Actually, you can solder your own individual SDRAM IC's (up to 2 more) into the XBOX.
A real TV? Who would have thought!

Being Catholic my self (but having a very good sence of humor) still somewhat found this very offtopic and unncessary.
They should have went with Coke. Now, if I want to get free iTunes music, I'll have to patronize Pepsico... blah.
