Maybe they are so upset because they are using webhosting designed for mom and pop sites.
This same issue applies to companies who provide email services for free or charge. I don't think customers are aware that system administrators have access to read their mail and have it still marked as unread.
Are doing it to make a nice profit. After the ridiculous markups that occurred with the xbox360 ( in some cases selling for $1000 over retail) people were prepared this time, and they are treating pre-orders like launch day.
If most of that is coming from youtube, there has to be a way to filter out that traffic and make some serious cash from it. I'm sure one of you enterprising programmers can work out something with the owner of the company.
Browse random myspace pages with care. I have had many full system lockups navigating through the different sites. I don't know how these people get so many friends when thier sites are causing peoples computers to crash.
This is definitely something we take for granted, expecially those who have jobs that require them to work on alot of different workstations. Get in the habit of treating your hands like they could always be infected with something. wash them frequently, and never rub your eyes with them.
A lawnmower engine? But seriously, doesn't something like this go against the laws of physics?

what are the long term effects of taking claritin twice a day for a long period of time? why would you want to risk taking an uneeded mediacation just to own a cat?
didn't myspace just sign a $400 million dollar advertising deal with google? How can you call the myspace deal stupid? Myspace today would probably sell for 5-10X what they paid for it.
I remember the hastle of having to install WinRar everytime I did a fresh install of Windows 3.11-98SE (with some NT line in there, but ignored for simplicity). Did XP (or OS X 10.whatnot) handling zip internally files really hurt the compression market?"
You need a quote for those type of assumptions. I haven't had to download winzip since i isntalled XP. I am sure that millions of others are in my position. Millions of people = lost revenue.
But lets be real, most jobs don't let you bring your tv to work, why should they give you full access to a medium that has 100X the content of a standard cable. The internet = ( videogames, tv, +everything ) wrapped up in a neat little package. It definitely should be restricted. I won't want to work for a place that does it though.

Yeah just like they put youtube out of business with googlevideos
Is this the web 2.0 mandatory logo tattoo or something?
lots of things, like.. updating hockey entries in wikipedia, and digging up new poutine recipes.

Not everyone has access to the internet. It should be up to the user to decide with features are "stupid"

Why only "energy/gas stations" why can't 7/11 fit this kind of business into thier model....

With all of these wireless signals?
Why did they put in so much white space between the bottom and the screen. I find it distracting when working on the new IMAC.
The things slashdotters have to do to keep girlfriends.... What size is skirt do you wear?
