LOL! That is just about the stupidest rationalisation of anything I have seen this month thus far! Let's put aside the notion that protecting idiots from themselves via "consumer advocacy" lobbying interests in government is, shall we say, thick-headed.

Now, suppose Fred Phelps manages to get his filthy special interest agenda funded in a similar manner through several public interests. Or that Bob Jones University's "Student government" decides declare February 21 as "Nigger Lynching Day". I would imagine that a bleeding heart such as yourself would get mighty upset. So, yes, my friend who completely lacks reason, lobbying for private interests through a public university's roster of student fees is unethical.

Sounds like even more of a deluded idealogue dirtbag to me. In any event, his dirty little special interest programmes have no business on the default fees list of multiple public university. I can imagine how ecstatic an idealogical freak like yourself would feel if Ann Coulter managed to get some authoritarian nationalist agenda put on the roster of initial fees that a student "can opt out of". Nader, that stinking sack of shit, needs to find private channels to fund his lobbying interests with.

and just state that I claim no political party allegiences, claiming no preference to our professional idiots (D) and theocrats (R) up on Capitol Hill. Now, the saddest part of your sob story is that you think your Democratic political party pride, these teacher union-prostate tapping persuasions, are the true way to educational enlightenment. After all is said and done, the losers get lazy like all unionists do, and get arrogant with the way they teach. They demand more than they're worth, just like your modern IT worker or system administrator. Outsourcing the education of our youngsters to hare-brained modern teaching methodologies and unaccountability, rather than stick with the old ways of teaching mathematics and English. It literally takes an underaged sexual relations scandal to get an incompetent pile of shit fired from a public school, heaven forbid they ever get tenure. And the motherfuckers have the nerve to form public sector unions and hold education hostage, to go on strike, for what amounts to more than a $40k/year salary in most areas, taking that nice cushy summer recess into account. Let us also not forget that your dreaded Buffalo-area politicans are pretty thoroughly running with the Democratic ticket. Pardon me while I don't shed a single tear for the woes of your parasitic father and everyone else that was too stupid to find their niche in industry or academia.

The latest in a long history of failures, the Linux operating system has flushed half of a US$820 million project out of the crapper hole on the side of the space shuttle. It seems that somebody came up with the bright idea of running the Mars rover on an Apple Macintosh "Supercomputer" controlled by Linux.

Oh, I suppose that that extra license fee for an actual quality operating system would have broken that $410M dollar budget. There's no way they could have afforded an embedded operating system that isn't cheap communist software. They could have gone with QNX RTOS, VxWorks or any number of other quality and time-tested real-time operating systems for the Mars rover, from a reputable company. But NOOOOO, they went with bullshit free-as-in-fix-everything-yourself Linux. Some long-haired balding fat Linux zealot, sucking up oodles of tax money with his blob-like presence in the NASA "engineering corps", with a certain penchant for cheap software, came up with the brilliant idea of running embedded Linux on an Apple Macintosh of all things. Of all the idiotic things that have happened under the current administration, this by far makes me most ashamed.
