    You may mean that Feinstein isn't a congresswoman.

    The names are confusing.
    Congress has 2 houses, the Senate and the House of Representatives.
    The people from the Senate are called senators.
    The people from the House are called either congressmen or reps.

    The only title a senator has is "Senator Smith".
    While reps. get two.

    Even though a senator is a member of a part of Congress they are not called congressman.
    Even though they represent people/states they are not called represntatives.

    Just to confuse things even more the word congressman isn't really capitalized unless it has a name after it.
    The same with representative and senator, unless of course you are naming 1 of the 2 halves of Congress.

    Congress as a whole/branch though is capitalized.
    I.e. Congress or congressman or Congresswoman Feinstein.

    And everything is capitalized at the start of a sentance.

    And of course you may mean something else entirely and this whole post can be ignored.

    Last year on PI day I went out to lunch at 1pm
    It took about an hour to eat - I could have film developed or glasses made.
    Being Pi day I of course got the wonderful gooey food.
    It was delivered to my table at 1:58 so I waited a minute to eat it.
    I started at 3-14 1:59.
    It just coincindence though.

    Unfortuately there are no more Perkins near me anymore. :(

    I think they are horrible but I am glad they won many of their lawsuits.
    Even though most people, including me, disagree with their opinions that should still be able to picket and print whatever stuff they want.

    Glutamate and glutamic acid are 2 different things.
    One is an acid and the other the conjugate base of it.
    Glutamic acid has 2 Hydrogens it can lose.
    MSG has 1.
    In a basic enough solution it could even lose the other Hydrogen.

    I am also anti-traffic camera.
    I am against any kind of public camera as well.
    Even if a camera is cheaper/easier/whatever than an actual officer I am still for the person.

    P.S. I wonder what Maori or any people who think cameras steal their souls do in a city like London?

    I wonder how many of those people are illegal immigrants.
    I don't know about you but for people who think illegals should be deported should also not count them for values like those.
    Even money just giving the poor people wouldn't need to go to the illegals since they would be sent away.

    Like usual there were few people here.
    It seems odd for me to hear 100's of people when there are none in my station.

    I, except for a seniority aspect, didn't vote R or D, I did write myself in for one position as I was better than the RorD-only people available.

    I used scanned-paper but luckily not Diebold/whatever.
    I still liked the lever machines.

    Try living without those.
    "Oh sorry; you can't afford food, too bad!"
    Even something like electricty is needed now-a-days.
    Well I guess people live in in shacks in 3 world countries, scrounging for food scraps.
    You can live without them.

    What about public defenders?
    They cost money.
    Are they a right?
    There aren't enough pro bono lawyers to go around.

    I think people should have to pay taxes for some things, whether they like it or not.
    Even if it isn't a "right" it is an essential privilege.

    For 2011 all the candidates were Dems. or Repubs.
    I decided to write myself in.
    Online it lists the number of parties with votes for them as well as write-ins.
    One of the seats had some number of D.s and R.s and 1 write-in.
    I voted for that seat.
    That means the write-in for him was me.

    Just a funny anecdote.

    As for the topic: the 9th Amendment does say, although implicitly, we have a right to secret ballot.
    The first 8 and the main body aren't all there is.
    People often forget the 9th and 10th Amends.

    That's what's wrong with the world.
    People aren't willing to risk their children, wives, house, and job for something like that.
    Now I am not better.
    With "Bread and Circuses" I wouldn't either.

    I wonder how much I would have to pay a sick homeless person to wear a shirt like that.
    When you have nothing to lose, you risk more.

    I know 103% of people will disagree with me but I think people/companies should be forced to serve anyone.
    If they want to call that slavery that good for them.
    "Sorry Walmart, you don't want to serve that one Arab speaking Muslim with a Burka, you get fined 10 billion dollars."
    "And mom and pop store, 1 million," it should be related to size of company.
    If the person is damaging products then that is a different story but Good Ole' Boys(trademark sterotypical South) think a black is annoying then too bad.
    Now this does apply only to "commercial" stores.
    If there is an assumption that anyone can shop - it applies.
    Someone's house is different.

    I don't divide places into only public and private.
    Stores can be commercial, when open, which is different.
    Similarly I don't think a random Joe can wlk in with a gun, legally acquired, into a prison like it is a park.

    I do like your "protected group" exception.
    Many people agree with a protected group but I think it should apply to all people.
    Why should civil rights only work with blacks and disabled. I thought all people had rights.

    I googled several names but couldn't find out what force multiplying pliers are.
    I found a couple questions but no pictures.
    Ach.
    As far as I can tell they are like Vise-grips.
    Or maybe the pliers that multi-knives form when opened.
    Having almost an extra pivet.
    I still don't know how you would unscrew a one-way though.
    Well without a file or drill.

    I remember those speeds.
    Now when I click "save as" the "download completed" window pops up before I even know it.
    Unless it is at least 10 meg I don't even think about speeds.
    I don't know how people lived in those midevil times 20 years ago.

    I don't know if this is late but I'll try anyway.

    Oddly enough, in my 7th grade I had the opposite "problam(sp)."
    The teacher said that if you get to the answer and do it the right way but you happen to do something like add 2+2=5 wrong you won't lose as many points.
    Sometimes the right answer is the only important thing.

    That was 20 years ago though.
    Maybe it is different now.

    What do I know, I only went to a public school. :D
    Well at least it was in a more affuent area so it is likely better than public schools in less wealthy places.

    I agree.
    Some libertarians assume that if you don't like laws you can "vote with your feet."
    It doesn't work that way in real life.

    Mostly offtopic but why can't internet be a right?
    Can electricity be a right?

    As for costing "vast portions of your life", if it does then is it really a right?
    A technical right and a useful right are different.
    The right to free press only applies to those who can afford a press, not poor people.

    I do like you country's idea of allowing prisoners voting ability.
    Of course I am for absolute "no taxation w/o representation."
    Even a baby or child or insane person shouldn't have laws apply to them if they can't vote.

    I decided that too.
    I did fly after 9/11 and did have to remove my shoes but after the groping I just won't fly at all.
    If it is an emergency then I will miss it.

    I doubt it will ever be removed so I guess I won't be flying until I move to Canada.

    It's interesting, the TSA is actually incompetant, not just evil.
    They let one "terrorist" through but luckely he was also bad and failed to ignite his bomb.

    Since we have the same ideals maybe we should visit.
    What city are you in so I can fly there. :D
