But its Wired's duty to at least TRY to get the other side as well, which Wired these days routinely fails to do because of a extremely inept writing and editing staff, or worse personal politics of said staff to manipulate it's readership which their past EiCs have admitted is going on there now.

They went from a great tech counterculture magazine of the 90's to complete and utter joke. Its no wonder after 6 years I let my subscription laps.

They have been touting their love of the Wii as well and two of Kotakus bloggers are now Wired Mag staff.

Their hate on Sony has much to do with Sony's recent handling (or most would say blatent misshandling) of the public at large. They have never said the PS3 or other Sony products suck (infact that have said the PS3 as a machine was mindblowing) just that they are always overpriced and consumer unfriendly which most of the public would agree with.

They have trashed the Xbox just as much in recent days the latest being the fun clip of the guy cooking eggs on his heat sync its so hot. and they are huge Apple lovers only to be rooting for the Zune (at least some of them are)

And well I would without a doubt say Consumerist, another Gawker Media site is quite anti Apple, microsoft, Sony and just about any company who screws with its customers.

In this situation, the Zune might get a few people just like the others have but not many.

As for the shuffles screenless design being a turnoff, the shuffle is one of Apple biggest sellers. They wouldnt have redesigned it if people didnt want to buy it. They even got rid of the 1 gig iPod nano because people where buying the shuffle for the nano. The fact is there are a lot of us (myself included) who find the lack of a screen good. I would rather just press a button to skip a track while on the tredmill then look at a screen to hunt a song down.

No the good intentions here is to force the movie industry to understand that a download IS NOT a DVD, and thus you cant charge 17.99 like the industry wants Apple to. Thats the reason for a lack of movies in the first place, they tried to bring everyone on board, but only Disney (who Mr Jobs owns the biggest share of the company) would go in on the deal.

I dont think it hurts the video iPod though, They are the number one payed site to download TV shows still. Most of the other groups havent even touched that market

That being said Apple could easily JUST sell Dinsey movies and people would buy in droves. Never underestimate the power of the mouse.

Both Republicans and Democrats have all did "disgusting acts" in office many times before, but the media ignored it as it wasnt a issue (hell even when the media was involved it wasnt a issue as was the case with Barbra Walters getting hit on by a former President) the difference here is the media likes to make up news now, because people dont care about whats happening in the world, they care about celeberty gossip. Lastly I would think Bills BJ is a lot less damaging that having a President routinly lie ON TAPE about WMD's reasons we went to war, and even what he said no less than a week prior to saying he didnt say it. Or having a Vise Pres who can either never be found, or is busy shooting his hunting buddies in the head.
