When shopping for a new Mac laptop about 6 months ago the screen was a significant issue. Matte screens just looked better to me. I couldn't justify blowing the extra cash on an MBP (w/ matte screen) and ended up with a straight MB. The screen has thus far not been an issue, somewhat to my surprise.
Um, Udo was showing that modern speech recognition software (i.e. Dragon) do not require training. This either disproves the GP's argument that Vista's engine requires training or shows how half-baked Vista's much promoted speech engine really is.

I second this. I've been w/ them since 1999, and have only suffered about 48 hours of downtime in those 6 years. That's not 9 9's of reliability (actually it's 3:-), but I don't think you will find a better host for the price.
