If all you care about is performance then you should buy the EE and slap 8 gigs of memory in there.
You can probably fit 200 hd's if you use your usb correctly.
Performance/Price + Heat + Noise + Reliability issues + Missing Features (let's face it people ) + etc.
I think Intel is still losing in all these areas but AMD hasn't released a chip this year, they just haven't been motivated to innovate, and the gulf isn't big enough that intel fanboys are just "Total Morons!", amd needs to hit with a 4500+ for $600 before they hit with dual core.
If they can do that while Intel struggles with chip revisions based on crappy heat and power problems they will take the market.
Desentizing people to violence is really just getting them to not question if they are in a just war.
Someone who is defending their home and is out in that was because they want victory for thier cause is a hell of a lot more effective than someone who's being paid $30 a month to leave california to get blown up by gooks so the ruskies won't have the ability to practice their political system of choice.
As long as a government wants to engage in wars which don't profit their citizens they will look for new ways to motivate their soldiers.
I think you're looking at this wrong. Pc Manufacturers look at what is easy to manufacture take those concepts and craft them into a computer, this is cheap and easy to produce.
Mac designers look at what they would like to have then compromise enough to make it work.
Most people realize if they made a few more compromises they could get their lappys under $2k (cdn $), but of course they don't.
The mentality stems from customers willing to pay $3-4k as opposed to everyone else who wants to hold onto their money... Next time you look at your lappy realize $700 went towards those looks.
There's something else curvy you could get with that money, in my book that's 21 dates:P
Now make the real comparison, is the mac mini more sexy then.... something something.
Moving back to this model which supported like Bethoven is valid in the days of artists like britney spears getting a few cents from tonnes of people who don't really care about music.
I still think a better system will evolve with lower production costs and consumers contracting artists to create music they like... which will be distributed for free... hence no money to be made.
Though donaters might get first option on any physical media produced?
Your economy is protected by only two things. IP law and trade taxes.
Not that there is anything wrong with allowing the U.S. Dollar to fall in line with the purchasing power of other currencies in their own countries, it'll just be harder for U.S. Citizens to travel.
Let's say we are arguing then I pull out a gun, you will be forced to respond... or die (lose the arguement) really it can be a very compelling arguement.
But this is beside the point, first off the good of the many over the good of the few.
The government thinks of companies as producing goods and distributing them to the people the exchange of money doesn't enter into their thinking, this is why companies seem to get more breaks.
Well you could start your own little country then... course they have the right to declare war on you.
Assuming you have rights and priviledges is a silly thing to do, especially when arguing with the power that protects them...

I know all this seems scary however, in Brittain where you can't remove a prive house or even hedge they have terrible infrastructure, curving roads and train tracks, bridges that could be removed with a culvert.
No one wants to think of their home as the property of the government but there are significant advantages to having it that way.
Recycling: You know they could sell 8 mil units just by tossing ff7 in there.
Not to mention other classics like RR4 and Bushido Blade and those were all for the ps1.
The damn thing has an analogue stick! It's control scheme matches with it's console! It's *#(*$#* genius!
If this becomes a trend you'll get A LOT OF CONVERTS.
Tonnes of people tweaking for that 3 fps lead.
Don't leave shoes in your front hall you could fall over them and through the window in your front door killing yourself.
And posibly seriously emotionally scarring anyone who walks by... actually don't bother... we all might be better off.

And here I thought I was paying my isp to look at their swanky site which tries to sell me more of their services.
:(
/me cries.
All this time I could have been out on the internet.... wow. That's really sad
They've finsed howard again and again till he thinks of it as the cost of doing business.
That mentality is kind of a problem...
Bugger your country... it'll be interesting to see what'll happen in a country with some common sense and a vision. Like China for example.
$300 Million sold $83 Million profit.
THOSE ARE SOME DAMN EXPENSIVE SERVERS, iTunes isn't going to help, it's allready totally messed up and it's just going to get worse.

Having held a Zen and an Ipod and used both I'd say the zen is the superior machine in every way.

America is an interesting case.

But the quality of life will improve for them.
Perhaps he's tired of spending >$200 on video cards.
Sweet crap those things are getting expensive. I got my 12 meg monster for $200 when I was young and that was top of the line!
Budy, some of us have AMD.
Come on in the HyperTransport is fine. Care for a pinya-Onchipmemorycontroller?
Carmack, openGl.
Carmack will do it, if a directX game doesn't hit first MS might be in trouble.
Here's hoping.
Your baby wanted to create a hardware and software monopoly with no clones or options.
High monopolistic prices.
Yea it comes in a white shiney box but they're the borg.
Props to Walmart for catering to the less afluent consumer and having enough power to stand up for their customers.
You can always do your own.
