    Not to mention other classics like RR4 and Bushido Blade and those were all for the ps1.

    If all you care about is performance then you should buy the EE and slap 8 gigs of memory in there.

    You can probably fit 200 hd's if you use your usb correctly.

    Performance/Price + Heat + Noise + Reliability issues + Missing Features (let's face it people ) + etc.

    I think Intel is still losing in all these areas but AMD hasn't released a chip this year, they just haven't been motivated to innovate, and the gulf isn't big enough that intel fanboys are just "Total Morons!", amd needs to hit with a 4500+ for $600 before they hit with dual core.

    If they can do that while Intel struggles with chip revisions based on crappy heat and power problems they will take the market.

    Desentizing people to violence is really just getting them to not question if they are in a just war.

    Someone who is defending their home and is out in that was because they want victory for thier cause is a hell of a lot more effective than someone who's being paid $30 a month to leave california to get blown up by gooks so the ruskies won't have the ability to practice their political system of choice.

    As long as a government wants to engage in wars which don't profit their citizens they will look for new ways to motivate their soldiers.

    I think you're looking at this wrong. Pc Manufacturers look at what is easy to manufacture take those concepts and craft them into a computer, this is cheap and easy to produce.

    Mac designers look at what they would like to have then compromise enough to make it work.

    Most people realize if they made a few more compromises they could get their lappys under $2k (cdn $), but of course they don't.

    The mentality stems from customers willing to pay $3-4k as opposed to everyone else who wants to hold onto their money... Next time you look at your lappy realize $700 went towards those looks.

    There's something else curvy you could get with that money, in my book that's 21 dates :P

    Now make the real comparison, is the mac mini more sexy then.... something something.

    Moving back to this model which supported like Bethoven is valid in the days of artists like britney spears getting a few cents from tonnes of people who don't really care about music.

    I still think a better system will evolve with lower production costs and consumers contracting artists to create music they like... which will be distributed for free... hence no money to be made.

    Though donaters might get first option on any physical media produced?

    America is an interesting case.

    Your economy is protected by only two things. IP law and trade taxes.

    Not that there is anything wrong with allowing the U.S. Dollar to fall in line with the purchasing power of other currencies in their own countries, it'll just be harder for U.S. Citizens to travel.

    But the quality of life will improve for them.

    Sweet crap those things are getting expensive. I got my 12 meg monster for $200 when I was young and that was top of the line!

    Let's say we are arguing then I pull out a gun, you will be forced to respond... or die (lose the arguement) really it can be a very compelling arguement.

    But this is beside the point, first off the good of the many over the good of the few.

    The government thinks of companies as producing goods and distributing them to the people the exchange of money doesn't enter into their thinking, this is why companies seem to get more breaks.

    I know all this seems scary however, in Brittain where you can't remove a prive house or even hedge they have terrible infrastructure, curving roads and train tracks, bridges that could be removed with a culvert.

    No one wants to think of their home as the property of the government but there are significant advantages to having it that way.
