As a web developer myself, I think it's already way too messy. I think that what holds us back is politics. The same politics that gave us broken browsers during the 90s holds web standards back. Look at Silverlight, for instance. It can do a lot, but M$ insists on locking down to only platforms that they bless.

You said something about Asian women. Personally, I believe that they are the most beautiful women in the world.

A while back, I hatched a plan to attend graduate school in Hawaii because there are so many Asian women living there.

Unfortunately, that didn't turn out well for me because not only are Asian women there by and large native-born Americans who grew up speaking English, but the local people there have insular social attitudes in general.

A friend of mine suggested to me that a foreign-born Asian girlfriend/wife might be more suitable for me for the reasons you described.

I actually met my (Asian) wife the year after I moved away from Hawaii.

Thanks for giving a great response to the OP and sharing your story with us.

You may have heard this already, but in case you haven't, here are some things to might want to have checked by LabCorp (or whichever laboratory you get your blood tests done thru)

    (1) CD57 (Google Lyme Disease). This measures a specific subset of white blood cells that is suspected to be supressed by some chronic illnesses.
    (2) check your testosterone levels, free and total, sex hormone binding globulin, luteinizing hormone, and estrogens. When these things are out of whack, you can feel like crap.

There is a lot of information out there. I hope this might be helpful to you.

Neil Strauss wrote a book about dating and sex called "The Game". He claims it to be a true story.

From what he said in the book he would definitely vouch for what you said about "Mother Nature". He advises young men who are told "no" when trying to initiate sex that oftentimes, all it takes is to back off and wait a few minutes for the woman to initiate sex instead.

He calls this "token resistance". He says that women have been taught to feel ashamed of having sex, so they will say "no" to sex before saying "yes" to sex. This way, they can feel less shame as they submit themselves to Mother Nature's program.

I think that it's quite an interesting insight.
