Not a lake by far, compare this pic to the other ones posted by the GPP, this is just a detail shot of the surface. At most it's a small puddle, as it does look like a liqiud of some kind to me, due to the fact that if you look at the puddle's right side, it seems as if the surface disappears with lessening visibility under the puddle's surface. Also the shadow overlaying part of the puddle is a lot darker than the surroundings. This is the same kind of behaviour you would expect on Earth.

Too bad tho that what's going to be implemented into the newer models will come from Microsoft and have nothing to do with accessing the car from the outside for consumers, but merely allowing service people and the likes to easily diagnose car problems without the need to take a few seconds extra to hook it up to a machine instead.

"I also want to thank everyone who has worked with us to craft a bill that addresses this serious threat to children and copyrights without unduly burdening companies that engage in lawful commerce in the wide range of devices and programs that can copy digital files. As (the) Sony (ruling) illustrates, clear knowledge that a copying device can be used to infringe does not provide evidence of intent to induce infringement. It was critical to find a way to narrowly identify the rare bad actors without implicating the vast majority of companies that serve both consumers and copyright-holders by providing digital copying devices--even though these devices, like all devices, can be misused for unlawful purposes. In particular, I would like to thank the Business Software Alliance for its invaluable assistance in crafting a bill that protects existing legitimate technologies and future innovation in all technologies--including peer-to-peer networking."

What bothers me more actually, is that he routinely talks about "protecting the American artists, children and taxpayers"

The difference this time round is this: Back then people with money could simply invest in stuff like that, and send out people on their own. Say for instance you had a billion bucks right now, there is no way in hell you would be able to privately fund a mission to Mars. Look at the Azanti (?) X Prize, every team needs special licenses from the FAA (or something like that), they need a launchpad, etc etc. Stupid Government regulations would sadly kill any such venture .....

... they postponed yet another piece of software?? See me not being amazed here, I mean, it seems to be the trend at MS currently to announce new software and then postponing it due to "problems" ... I wonder why. Would it be because the want to see what OSS has to offer first so they can steal the ideas and then sell 'em off? On the other side, if developers start saying this "slip" is becoming "a credibility issue", then maybe certain OSS apps will finally be accepted in full as being grown-up pieces of software. At best this will cause MS to loose a few points in goodwill with a large group of people that still (foolishly) place their trust in them.

Seriously, I totally dislike these laptop carrying bags. They're too bulky to hold comfortably and/or heft around. I simply carry mine in my back pack wherever I go. I bought a Gravis backpack which is made for laptops. It has a studded main laptop compartment with an extra soft cover which you can slip over your laptop. I put everything in that bag, laptop, power supply, usb keyboard, mouse, pcmcia cards, digital cam, and then it stll has space left for a good deal of A4 sized papers and magazines. On the whole, even though it may sound as a humungous backpack, it doesn't look big. Don't know if you know a Dell Latitude D800, but they're huge. It fits snugly. It may have cost a good deal (around 140 Euro's here in the Netherlands) but it's more than well worth the money. The first link I found after a small bit of googling: Gravis Backpack. Good luck!
