    Seriously, these ppl are being taught to take short routes as opposed to how to grow companies. As such, we end up with junk like GE, HP, IBM, Google, etc. These companies are dying and it is due to hiring of horribly trained MBAs that only look at how THEY can get big bonuses, and then leave the company.
    This is why Musk has less than 12 total in all of his companies.

Trump said that he would stop China from dumping/etc and instead is not only NOT doing what promised, but now his tax reform will be better for companies that import from China. 10% to bring money offshore here, but had they kept it here, it would have been 20-35%.     Back in the 90s, Colorado had our infamous amendment 2. It basically said that state and local gov could not forbid this kinds of actions and that ppl would have no legal recourse. However, that version was after the far right got a hold of it. The ORIGINAL version said that for roommates, landlords owning 4 or less properties, or businesses smaller than 12 employees, COULD discriminate in this fashion, BUT, that all others COULD not. IOW, if you worked for a company where it was possible to move you away from idiots, then you should not be discriminated against.
    Likewise, for a roommate situation, the last thing I would want to do is move into a place in which the roomie HATES me from the gitgo. That will make for a nightmare situation
    The ability to place that Ad should be similar. If it is roomate or small ownership, then by all means, allow somebody to avoid getting into bad situations.
    BUT, with medium to large businesses, absolutely NOT.

    yeah, I have thought that a nice IO chip would be perfect for this. USB and Ethernet do not generate lots of heat, though that would be 1G and under.
    In fact, if done up right, a small chip with CPU/ram could serve as buffering with wifi, USB, Ethernet, SATA, SCSI, etc.

    Seriously, R&D on this has been ongoing since at LEAST the 80s and more likely the 70s.
    One of the bigger issues is that surface area to volume really drops, so will likely have multiple heat sinks with microtubes built in between chips to carry off heat.

    Paris Accord , like Kyoto, is a major political joke. Until ALL nations stop building new coal plants, CO2 will continue rising. At this time, the world would be better off figuring out how to deal with much higher global temps, along with higher ocean levels. Personally, I'm hoping that amoc stops enough to trigger ice age.

    Mod parent up. This is exactly right. In fact, if QC remains an issue, then Tesla costs will skyrocket( post delivery fixes ARE expensive ) and kill their profits or possibly, ability to break even.

    Screens in passengers vehicle does not make a dent in electricity. Likewise, HVAC in passengers vehicles, excluding use of cabin heating in early part of trip, makes only small dent . In truck, NEITHER will register on usage.

    As long as they solve the QC issues esp on M3, they will be just fine. I have no doubt that by end of 2018Q1, that they will be doing just fine and likely at break even. But, if they do NOT solve QC, then they could be in a pickle.

    One of the issue is that American students are being turned down, even though many of them are as good/better rated than foreign student. A big part of that reason is that foreign professors are working hard to bring their own countrymen here, rather than simply picking the best. That needs to change.

    IOW, it was only for part of the nation, not for all. There is a reason why China will build so many.
    Over all, 1,600 coal plants are planned or under construction in 62 countries, according to Urgewald’s tally, which uses data from the Global Coal Plant Tracker portal. The new plants would expand the world’s coal-fired power capacity by 43 percent.
    And this is JUST China's building of new plants, of which 4/5 of these will be in CHINA.

    Well, I can see why you continue to hide who you are. After all, your bosses in China have told you to NOT out yourself.

    The cancellations were because the plants were in the WRONG places, not that they polluted. Instead, they want those cancelled plants to burn methane that they are producing by converting coal to methane. Less pollution's, but far more CO2 because of process used and China dumping it into air, not burying it.

    U are such an idiot that obviously astroturfs for China. Xi's 10 year plan calls for 1.7 TW capacity from coal, while burning at less than 1.2 TW done by 2030. China stopped certain coal plants that are in the worst polluted cities, but continue building 35-50 Get of new coal plants EACH YEAR. You can continue to lie, but the facts speak otherwise.

    actually, no. America's CO2 is STILL going down. Look, we have 2 main sources of CO2 in America; Electricity and Transportation. Transportation is moving towards EVs, which will kill off the oil, and since our electricity is less than 30% coal, it will continue to clean up.
    In addition America is NOT building new coal plants, while Germany is.

    Now, if Trump had the ability to FORCE new coal plants here, like China's Xi can and does, then yeah, I would agree with you. But that is not the case.
    America's coal use will continue to fall. Nat gas will increase for another 2-4 years, but once NuScale is implemented in about 3 years, things will change FAST.
