    Maybe that's because Sony has a successful console with dozens, if not hundreds, of great games and microsoft has a failed console with 2 good games. And no, neither of them are halo.

    I don't think you'll see much pro-Sony sentiment around here if they blow it in the next generation and don't have a huge lead in the number of quality titles available exclusively for their platform.

    On most TV setups, I would question the extent of a difference stereo sound would make, given the close proximity of the speakers. If you have a 30" TV with speakers built in, those speakers aren't going to be more than about 2 feet apart. Unless you sit fiarly close, you probably get little stereo field.

    You haven't used a stereo television in a long time have you? Because the different between mono and stereo output on even a 21" set is quite pronounced. Now whether any of this is true, who cares? No one's buying an xbox 360 anyway. What's the point of a "game" console without anything to play on it? The original has been out for 4 years and there are still only two exclusives that I would play on it and one port that I would play over the PS2 or GC versions if offered the opportunity.

    I also thought it interesting that every XBox is tested for 2 hours. That's not true for typical computers, washing machines, even cars AFAIK.

    And probably isn't true for xbox 360 either.

Take a second back from being a moron and think on a) how that even makes sense as a metric by which to determine taxation, and b) how the government would go about taxing eat individual "money" only once.

    Inheritence taxes tax those inheriting, not those who died. And why shouldn't you pay tax on income you don't earn the same as when I have to pay it on the income that I do earn?

    So yeah, teach ID in schools if you like, just teach it in something other than the science classroom.

    Why do people keep saying that? What possible value could something like that EVER have in a classroom? Maybe it'd be useful to study the political motivations and actions of the people supporting it, but there isn't any value in the actual idea itself, so how come people keep suggesting that?

    Starcraft and Halflife play great in WINE. That Maple Story crap requires IE, but the rest of that shit they're better off running Linux for. Maybe when more recent games are the big thing over there that'll be a valid point. And who knows, this Maple Story thing might even run in WINE too but I'm way too lazy to run IE in it to find out.

    Yeah, they'll just hack that too. So who cares? As long as the authentication for these things is local it'll get hacked. And even assuming that remote authentication would somehow stop the hacking, we're no where near the point where enough people will accept their programs phoning home in order to run them.

    Yeah, I've got speeds similar to that on an OC'd 1800+ Mobile with 1GB. I really don't see where these speed complaints are coming from since it sure starts up a lot faster than Office ever did all those years ago when I still used it.
