I believe the confusion stems from the fact that certain states, and maybe the federal statutes, provide a "journalist's privilege" which allows a journalist to avoid testifying as to the source of a story in court.
Sorry, that only works for robert novak. Please try again.
How do any of those networks lean the other way? They might not have fallen over to the right yet, but they're certainly on their way.
It's particularly nice how idiot like you will constantly go on about the "liberal bias" in the media but never back it up, all the while anyone who actually turns it on would know better.
I use free software because I like it better. Doesn't mean I'm going to use a toy to do a Man's job.
Why do you have to agree with that argument in order to like open source software when you aren't in it just for the price?
RMS's argument is completely ridiculous, no matter how right in certain areas. But sometimes open source just isn't there, or maybe it can't be. Saying that one should use inferior products if the disparity in quality is significant just because they are "Free" is what "doesn't make sense."
It's similar sorts of zealots who always say "it's open source, fix it yourself." So it's time to put up or shut up. Which hopefully won't be too hard, since if McVoy can do it, I'm sure there are tons of people who can put together something similar to BK with an open source license, though it does make one wonder, if that is true, why they haven't done it yet.
Yes, you should use the best tool for the job, but if you're developing free/open source software, and a large component of your development rig is a proprietary piece of software, what kind of message does that send to other developers, or to the public?
I would think that the message would be to put up or shut up. If RMS cares so much, wtf is his tool for doing what needs to be done? I seem to see him whining about how Linux should be misspelled "GNU/Linux" more than working on anything particularly important.
That's what it was seeming like. But let's say v3 says you have to pay someone, how are you going to prove that you got it from the v2 site when someone comes looking for your loot?
What happens if someone else takes your public source distribution and rereleases it under the new license each time you put out a new version? Since the code is the same, isn't it therefore under the new license?
So are you saying that the last few years of breakout virus and worm attacks has all been part of microsoft's master plan to "convince" developers that they should start writing software that will work with the new least-privileged model?
You build it yourself, obviously. A 700$ Dell is going to need a lot of upgrading to be competitive and you might as well get the parts you want and a slick case (black knight anyone?) instead of throwing money away on an OEM solution that you're going to gut and replace half the parts on anyway.
Working hard and being creative hardly make you "deserving" of compensation. Where do you idiots get this idea from? No one is entitled to being paid, period. Isn't that like the whole point of that "free market" crap that you people also go on about?

Sure seems like they like to drive up the cost of their consoles too. PS2 is still 150$ after being on the market almost 5 years. In any other generation it would have been 99.99$ by now and probably have come with a game.
I don't think "should" can be considered an incitement in that context. Perhaps if it were reworded, "You should sterilize all gays."

I say the same thing every time I see a church.
Yes, because handheld laser guns are looking so plausible at this point.
It's time for some serious school to do what should have been done with this project in the first place: build it into a Dance Dance Revolution stage!

Only 2 chicks at the same time? What, do you have a heart condition?
Usually they work in dirty, poorly-lit sweat shops making your shoes for half a penny a week... oh wait, you said euthanasia?
Well, IANAL, but ...

Then he certainly isn't my madman! All my madmen hack on vi.
Ok, why would you drop the horrid ui of windows for gnome? I'd think someone dropping windows would do it to get something better, not worse.
/me puts on his tinfoil hat and robe.
Damn you public schools!

Is there such thing as a non-action verb? Don't you watch those government propaganda commercials? "Verb, it's what you do!"
Which explains why windows is so "popular"...

About Atheist Fundamentalism?
You sir are an idiot.
You could do it with VIVO!
