    It would seem to me that in the event of radar interference, you would stop using that part of the band. With more frequencies set up, future cards could just change bands, or lose a single band, losing 10% or a similar amount of their bandwidth, not a total stop.

    Iron's not better than bronze. For instance, in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, when the two women were fighting, the only weapon that wasn't being snapped by the green destiny sword was a large bronze stick. It was iron's tendency to fracture that made the other weapons of less use. It was bronze's tendency to bend that made the bronze rod an effective weapon for a short while. Each thing has its own use. I suppose we need value considerations, but they must be put in their proper context.

    Initially, I was thinking of these devices as dust sized motes. When they reach this size, jamming can still be possible by using the devices as chaff, left and sprayed over people, objects, etc by the millions, and thus wiping out the power of people interested in tracking you. Anonymity is only possible when everyone has their information hidden.

    Coat yourself with hundreds of thousands of the little tags. A chaotic radio shout in reply to a sensing whisper should make the devices less than usefull. Bury these buggers in information.

    Have the cops bring the original photo into court. Scan it in in front of the judge. Apply the sequence in order in the court. It will form a logical train then. The forensic examiner need only write down the filternames and settings. This method is time consuming, but should be fairly admissable.

    Unfortunately, can't be easily used to make an ansible. You'd need several times more energy than the universe has to entangle the wavefunctions of the particles over such a distance.

    A clone army is a pathetic creation. If I can capture one clone, it becomes incredibly easy to discover a simple pathogen or set of pathogens I can spray on them to kill them all. Sure, they don't fear death, but it's tactically useless, since they're all dead.
