Under the new regulations passed, they are required to provide you with their name/phone number. If they don't, use complain about a call feature on your phone. When the telco calls to find out about your situation explain it to them.
Are you looking for OSS or commercial. The commercial spaces certainly offers many choices (CA has a product and Lotus Notes can do this).
I've never looking in the OSS space for these products. I'm sure you will get some good recommendations here.
And for cases like this, TMDA allows the generation of "temporary" email address. They can be used in news groups, etc. I never use my normal "public" email address in these cases. It works very nice.
If someone doesn't want to do my C/R for a normal email out of the blue, then I don't want to hear from them.
In the cases where I send email to you first, there is no C/R behavior. Like wise, once you C/R, you are good from then on.
Plus, the C/R with TMDA is really simple. Click reply and send.
Essentially, it is a whitelist. You can manually add entries (and wild cards). Or the challenge/ response allows the sender to add themselves to your whitelist. If a spammer actually replies, and gets on your white list, it's easy to move them to the blacklist.
No troubles with mailing lists. (Even though I'm on very few).
I got rejected yesterday.... on this:

Guess We can expect this story tomorrow:

Colorado had the "snack" tax or a form of it. Same idea, standard sales tax was charged on food purchases at convenience stores. BTW, food is not subject to sales tax in Colorado.
The reason I left Colorado is that it was getting to be too much like California. And yes, I'm behind the times in Cali, by choice, atleast 15 years I'd have to guess.
Also, by "FAT TAX", I meant an extra cost for every gram of fat in a package of food. Go to Mcdonalds, buy a Whopper, it has 279g of fat, pay an "extra" 27.9c or something.
Not about the technology. Here, take more of my money, my kids don't need to eat so much crap from McDonald's anyway.
I'm waiting for the "fat tax". Can it be that far off?
During 8 months of unemployment, I worked with numerous head hunters. I came away with the feeling that their primary concern was placing as many people as possible to earn the placement commission.
They don't care about the employee or the employer.
Even though I was desperate for employment, I decided they weren't worth the trouble.
Not to mention all the OHHHH, that position was just filled after making an inqury about a posting on monster.com (or the like).
I guess I got lucky, the company I'm working for came looking for me....

About a missing file: /home/dnotj/.wine/fake_windows/boot.ini
BitTorrent has many legitimate uses. In fact, I'm using it right now....legitmately.
It's happened once, will happen again
I wonder what school(s) micro$oft will be giving the FUD money to when this SCO scheme is finished.

the poster is obviously delusional
Not to mention that this same company probably has the same bug because they swiped the OPENSSL code. .dn

Reference the Do Not Call List earlier.
What does this reek of?
Exactly, this will be sorted out by the end of the week. Oct 1st is just around the corner.
perhaps an AMD story could have replaced this story
#1 Links to URLs not on standard ports stink. I'm stuck behind a very strict http proxy.
#2 Links to message lists stink to. The location of the content is not obvious. Maybe the offport link contains some valuable information.
#3 I did find the message that is the topic of this post. The material in the message seem very "dated".
I got a timeout trying to reach http://www.verisignsucks.com
I am no more a racist than you are a religious zealot.
scary to me....but maybe I'm a bit paranoid.
Does this mean we get some decent music too?
