2 theses and 10 papers in their first term of high school?
I think that "theses" does not mean what you think it means.
Thesis: a dissertation embodying results of original research and especially substantiating a specific view; especially : one written by a candidate for an academic degree (Merriam Webster)
My brother-in-law's thesis was >800 pages.
Rosie ODonnell says she's not fat.
Geek says that the 10 gadgets hanging out of every pocket makes him look sexy.
Linus says that Linux is the best OS ever.
Ballmer says the chair threw itself.
Pot denys that the kettle is black.
Um, I remember as a kid having my dad stuff me, my sister, and my brother in his Vette. 2 of us would sit in the passenger seat and one of us would sit/lay on the shelf behind the seats.
Might not be legal, but we lived.

Sigh...
Cheney does not get money from Halliburton. He was forced to sell all his shares before taking office because of the wacky-left crying out that he had a conflict of interest. The same wackos then complained that the stock went down after he sold.
Give it a rest already.
The guy that runs the company is so arrogent an asshole that even Larry Ellison thinks the guy is over the top.
I guess that's ok when he's harassing Microsoft by naming their product "Lindows". But once he starts the same sort of behavior towards the Linux community, it isn't ok anymore?
And what happens when your internet goes down due to a natural or man-made disaster?
Amateur radio is a -supplement- to normal communications channels, not a replacement or drop-in component to such systems.
Most communications systems used by end users (cell phones, wired phones, and internet) depend very heavily on the availability of basic infrastructure services that typically are overloaded or go offline in an emergency.
Crippled and slow alternatives aren't cool. But being able to communicate around the world on just a few watts of power and being able to communicate at all when power is out and phones are down are.
Especially when you're desperately trying to find out if someone you love is alive. A Santa Cruz ham helped me contact my family after the 1989 Bay Area earthquake when phones were still down and would be down for another 14 hours.
He's from SGI, is it any surprise he likes *nix better than Windows?
I still don't know why MS hired him. The guy was a personality-less bozo that did sqat in his time at Microsoft.

Glad you made it home safely!
You may want to compare the Sempron64 vs the CeleronD.
What's a modem?

Not a bad idea but, with them having a 38 billion dollar deficit one would think they'd be focused on that.
So glad not to be there now.
They need to put them in donut shops to reach the greatest number of cops.
