    Anytime someone gets Linux to run on something different or someone converts a game system there's always a "what's the point" comment. I think we've covered the reasons for this already, so please go back and check the comments for "X-Box cluster", etc. Of course, it's possible that people know this and they are just trolling.

    I just whipped out my old Syndicate box (for the Amiga, those graphics kicked arse!!). The date on it is 1993. Wow, 10 years, time to celebrate!
    Lucky for me, I still have an Amiga 1200, so I can go play it!
    Ditto about making a new one, I can just picture it in 3D.

    There was a even a company selling converted NES-to-PCs or kits or something. Ah! Here's the link.
    They also do Atari 2600s and Amiga 1000s (I would never defile my A1000!).

    I must be tired, because when I first looked at the article I seriously thought they were talking about the TI99/4A Parsec. I spent several precious seconds trying to figure out what good the source code would be.

    And if you can't afford an XBox (due to student loans and such), the ol $50 Sega Dreamcast has some really nice emulators for it! No mod chip required. I use the NES emulator all the time. Apparently MAME runs well. There's also some BSD distro for it, and homebrew games. Plus, it's so small and cute!
