Hahahahhahaha! Funny!
I think Windows is fine the way it is. MS should stop developing OS and start making something that I deem more valuable... hmmm.. how about a virtual squirrel mating program!
I really shouldn't have to spell out the silliness of your argument so I won't.

Let's see here: Froogle!
Ooh! The 5th result lists the book for $12.50. But then when I actually click on the link it's $15.50! Damn you, Froogle! I'm sure if I had the book it would tell me how to hack Froogle into getting a lower price for the book. But then I'd already have the book...
My brother deals with a lot of surplus equipment so he gets fun/cheap/old things. He mostly has phone equipment listed on the site now.

Anytime someone gets Linux to run on something different or someone converts a game system there's always a "what's the point" comment. I think we've covered the reasons for this already, so please go back and check the comments for "X-Box cluster", etc. Of course, it's possible that people know this and they are just trolling.
Who'd think I was anything less than trying to rip off Slashdot for creating a user-submitted news site called Bashdot?
If I had a nickel for every time I accidentally went to bashdot.org and started posting comments! I'm such a stupid a user, the courts should really protect me from myself!

This would be a golden opportunity for some competition to start developing a program in time for next year's taxes.
But maybe everyone will have forgotten about all this by then.
I just whipped out my old Syndicate box (for the Amiga, those graphics kicked arse!!). The date on it is 1993. Wow, 10 years, time to celebrate!
Lucky for me, I still have an Amiga 1200, so I can go play it!
Ditto about making a new one, I can just picture it in 3D.
So I suppose you have a way of building a hard drive controller and other components for an NES, and being able to install a dual boot of Red Hat and Win XP??
Didn't think so.;)

There was a even a company selling converted NES-to-PCs or kits or something. Ah! Here's the link.
They also do Atari 2600s and Amiga 1000s (I would never defile my A1000!).
I must be tired, because when I first looked at the article I seriously thought they were talking about the TI99/4A Parsec. I spent several precious seconds trying to figure out what good the source code would be.
Off to bed I must go...
And if you can't afford an XBox (due to student loans and such), the ol $50 Sega Dreamcast has some really nice emulators for it! No mod chip required. I use the NES emulator all the time. Apparently MAME runs well. There's also some BSD distro for it, and homebrew games. Plus, it's so small and cute!

And the Amiga's still alive and... um...
*hugs Amiga 1200 to chest and cries*
I hope the parent wasn't modded up because the moderators thought Bubble Boy was a funny movie!

Getting there is the interesting part.

Um. Hello?
Actually it says using plain CCS. ;)
So maybe it's valid CCS... whatever the hell that is.
