What would stop them from adding open office? A web browser is a pretty complex program (its the one which uses most memory on most machines) so why not other things?
The serious answer is they bought the brand. Sure, they can get the source and remake their own database, but whatever they do with it, it won't be mysql.
Why did they buy it?

Didn't they know they could just download it and run without paying?
I will carry on working on whichever projects I need to as long as I keep a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs. If I have enough time left to make my pet project better I will do, but don't expect me to go hungry to help you.
Infact, I see a lot more bounties being put out on features (I was offered $10 for a minor example in Python last night)
I have never seen the point in setting up a fixed RAM drive. The amiga natively supported a variable sized RAMdrive which was always 'full' but as long as physical memory was available still had space.
The layout of the keyboard on the n810 is not that good either. Its more geared (as the rest of things are on the device) for a right handed person and theres odd things missing.
(just a bit frustrated, the rest of the device is amazing)
its a good time to become a loan shark. Big Tony is already making a killing with his interest rates. I've heard that if you don't keep up with your repayments, they will break your ARM or hit you so hard it fragments your memory.
i download copyrighted material everyday and if my ISP stopped it then I will be very annoyed. Practically every page I download has a copyright, including the one I am reading now.
Their answer may not have anything to do with Hubble.
I am quite certain that former astronauts (and prospective ones) when asked if they would do a garbage cleanup mission in orbit would say "Absolutely, In a heartbeat."
I would, wouldn't you?
(thats not to say hubble isn't worthy at all, it has produced some of the greatest images of space seen so far)
1. Clean and sterilise the bottles. I use 750mL plastic PET bottles. A batch of beer will fill 30 of them.
2. To each bottle add sugar. I use sugar drops and add two per bottle (see below). The additional sugar is to allow for extra fermentation in the bottle. This is what causes the beer to have bubbles.
3. Remove the airlock from the top of the fermenter to allow the beer to flow freely.
4. Warm your hands (Not normally necessary but Bender insisted on this step before letting me near his tap).
5. Slowly, with each bottle tilted to avoid frothing, fill each bottle from the tap.
In other news the one child who was due to receive his laptop has mysteriously vanished leaving the project in even more deep trouble.
Sources say the one child was expected to be waiting outside the gates of his school at the end of the day but did not turn up. Speculation around the town says it was because he got into trouble and was given detention.
Hey, don't mock MSDN. The silverlight version uses.net language features to transparently instance the whole MSDN tree and do an instr() on the contents.
I wonder how you found out about this?
Were you out on a date with a deaf woman and when you told her you wanted to fuck her she brought you fruit?
Its the best idea ever.
That way we can abuse their rights and they can go on strike!!!
I've found the perfect coating for this lens.

Anything that starts with "replace the firmware of your device with this hacked firmware" can obviously cause you problems.
Isn't that what Linux advocates have been asking Windows users to do for years.
I best duck now, but the analogy is the same.

Anything else since has seemed archaic.

How can they differentiate unauthorized copyright from authorized?
The entire population of paraplegic mice are rejoicing today in the hopes that this news pans out.

AV firms came back to work yesterday ;)
They had a 2 week holiday.
Now tell me why anybody should want this outside of the media/video industry...

I don't suppose it matters.
Once they have access to the physical box, all bets are off.
This is abhorrent.
We need a national zombie register.

Same suit going to Hawai for 2 days with minimal bagage = trouble...
You are right, he would be stuck in airports for months getting shipped around because no-one knows where the hell Hawai is.
dead or alive, you're coming for me.
