Austin, TX (a city in question here) has a population of 743074 and an area of 767.28 kilometers squared. The math says 968 people per sq km. The desert in west Texas does not need high speed data services. Austin, TX on Wikipedia
Instead of boycotting the game (though reasonable) and seeking to remove it from stores (something of a free speech issue?), why don't they spend more effort on supporting the ESRB rating system and its enforcement? They should do that if they're really focused on keeping it out of the 'hands of impressionable young people'.
like usual. The second article actually seemed positive towards the Xbox 360. It highlighted ease of use and setup and touted the Xbox Live feature of the system. The bias in the summaries and article selection are disappointing if for no other reason than they are commonly misleading.
I realize that this isn't really a focal point for the piece, but with all the work they put in I can't imagine why they would put that controller with it.
If you've ever held one, you know what I mean.
While I didn't go to E3, I anxiously awaited news online from the show. I was excited to see what new details were available from the games I'm looking forward to playing. (coughDoom3cough) And of course, some new titles were announced too. (coughNewZeldacough)
Also, I think these shows can bring some other games to light (that might have been missed before).
For what it is worth, Lil' Jon is a platinum selling rap artist. He currently is involved with 2 songs in the top 20 of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart and 3 songs in the top 50 of the Hot 100.
I have to agree with the title of the last post. I tend to believe that the EU shouldn't hold it against MS for including a media player with their operating system. Granted, it should be able to be uninstalled, but why give them grief just b/c they added a feature. If real and quicktime were better products, they would gain more of a widespread use/following. Look at MP3 players for your desktop -- there is a reason that Winamp is so popular. It's just a better alternative.
The parent is a little harsh, but he's right. Just b/c we're all/. readers and know how to get around a computer doesn't mean we should forget about those who are less experienced, or of a different background. My grandmother uses the internet and i doubt she'll ever be that computer savy, and that's fine. I think as a community we just need to be more considerate.
I remember back when i 6 years old - my Dad got so tired of telling me how to use the DOS commands.:)
Cost is a negative feedback.
One side consequence of better processing will be that it will be more advantageous to collect even more data.
When did they stop saying, "Live from New York, its Saturday Night Live!"?

I would bet a large sum of money that you're not just looking at their navels. :)
I believe that mirrors of a slashdotted site is a good thing... though sometimes this might be difficult to prove.
BTW... i'm looking for a mirror... please.

So it says 13TB of RAM... that's a cool 6.5 GB per processor. Beats anything i run :)
Did anyone else not find that comic totally un-entertaining? I was disappointed.
