The MediaMVP works excellent and all you have to produce is a mpeg-1 or mpeg-2 video. It can handle all the way up DVD quality to boot. The only downside is that it only comes with windows server software but people are working on versions for linux which should be able to be recompiled for mac.
Well I have a solution for that. Hire people who are capable of actually using a computer and thinking for themselves. I work at a data entry company and the people are amazing at keying data. But most are completely lost even when you ask them to go to the start menu.
All you have to do is disconnect your cable modem during install. Once you are done installing and ready to connect through your ethernet you need to go into My Network Places, click on View Network Connections. Then right click your local area connection and click on properties. Once that window opens click on the advanced tab. Then you check the box that says "Protect my computer and network..." That only allows outgoing traffic and incoming traffic that was requested. Now you may connect to your cable modem.
RAID 1 would be the best way and you can use as little as two drives like the parent post states. But if you don't want to have to worry about the rebuild if a drive fails you'll want a hot spare which increases your hard drive minimum to three. A hot spare will automatically take over for the failed drive and when you replace the failed drive, the new becomes the new hot spare.
There are linux virus scanners to protect windows systems and binaries. If you have a linux mail or file server serving a bunch of windows machines, you need to protect those machines.
I don't know, if you're just looking for cheack rackmount pc systems head over to colomachine.com. I use them at work and they have never given me any problems.
So when a show is broadcast on a tv network with commercials it would be different from the original production and be a derivative itself. And what about localized commercials? They would create another derivative work from the derivative of the original. I'm not sure that what I said makes and sense but I think I have it all wrong anyway.
Wouldn't this sell better if it were labeled a sim? Also did anyone notice the character at the top of the site in the link? It looks like someone's sac.
Now I would imagine all the Indie bands could sue the RIAA for scaring away their potential customers. Now even someone who wants to use a p2p system to download material that is ok to share may be too afraid.

Well, Cognac glasses are a transport device sort of like a cd. But we're not buying cds and dvds for the plastic. We want what's inside.

I did a quick check (read: too lazy to look for very long) for the sources and couldn't find them. Does anyone know where to locate them?

What about those who connect to their dorm wirelessly? Can they still use the VoIP apps on their laptop or PDA?
