If you're not from California, it's no cheaper than a private school. In fact, it's more expensive because private schools (like Stanford, where I go) are much more generous with financial aid.
The point is that the original idea (the innovation) was done by an open source program. Other programs started to copy that functionality and add different features, but they weren't nearly as innovative. Besides, a lot of the some of the better clients are open source anyway(Azureus, Deluge, Transmission).
This is not surprising, since I was unable to find any really good Linux python webcam libraries (and by really good, I mean, any that I could get to work).
I've actually had something like this happen on Linux. I was installing root (physics analysis software) from source, but I did something very wrong (like, didn't set the install path correctly or something, I'm not quite sure what happened, actually) and make install (as su) ended up deleting everything in/etc and putting in a few files belonging to root there. It ended up being a good reason to upgrade to Fedora 7 on that machine.
Right, because that explains why people replace their existing Windows installs (which they've already paid for) with Linux. If people really just wanted stuff for free, they'd pirate it (in fact, people already do that).
Well, like, you can already run Mac OS X in VMWare (somewhat hacked, and in breach of license) on non-Apple hardware (not sure about Leopard... but certainly with Tiger, and if not yet with Leopard, soon with Leopard...)
iTunes is only available for a few select platforms...
They'll find Jobs when they call home.
Have you tried latex2rtf? I don't know what it does with equations though...
Well, I've been using fwcutter for my bcm4318 on a a Dell d810 in Fedora 9 (since like the first preview release), and it works more or less fine.
lol.cat seems to be taken? :-/
Here's the code I used
List pickFinalFour(Tournament tourney){
List finalFour = new ArrayList();
for (Division d : tourney){
Team bestTeam = null;
int minSeed = Integer.MAX_VALUE;
for (Team t : d){
if (t.getSeed()minSeed){
minSeed = t.getSeed();
minSeed = team;
}
}
finalFour.add(bestTeam);
}
return finalFour;
}
8.04 will include SELinux, I think... AppArmor is already available afaict.
Find anything that Rockbox supports... it'll support those formats... and let you play Doom!

Hey, at least we don't have people living in trees...
Nah, you just have to enable the right repository.
cozzy@cozzy:~$ cat /etc/shadow /etc/shadow: Permission denied /etc | grep shadow

Here are a few:
Deus Ex?
Apparently, it's not very good at letting me know it exists =P. Thanks, I'll give it a whirl.

Exactly,but why even bother with tasers? Just shoot the bastards. Or better yet, bomb the building. How's that for expediency?
This must be a troll... Nobody would actually admit listening to Manowar =P
posting to undo accidental moderation...
then some metadata on the disk is modified to reflect your move.

The irony is that the homebrew computer club meetings were held at SLAC, which is in Menlo Park, CA.
