In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
But at least you could tell who were the good guys and who were the bad guys by the color of the laser shots. Maybe each side had some sort of color filter the made the other sides lasers ineffective. I wish I knew, because knowing IS half the battle.
DING DING DING!!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!! That example of Comcast is dead on. I just received a letter from Comcast informing me that my rate is going up $6/month and what great new features do I get for this rate increase? They are going to swap the channel numbers for PAX TV and the local access channel. Whoopdee freakin doo. I guess it's time to switch to a dish and check and see if DSL is available at my address. Last time I checked, SBC (another top rated company in customer service) said I was too far away from the switching office (~17,000 feet).
If keeping your part-time job or at least a reasonable amount of work hours is a 'perk', then yes, effectively pushing extended service plans does get the sales staff 'perks'.
3. The amount of waste would be a small percentage of the starting amount. So for every *ton* of fuel (that's one HELL of a lot of energy!), you'd end up with a few dozen kilograms of stuff left. Of the remaining "waste", a large portion of it would be stable materials.
What about the tonnes of 'soft' waste that is generated (the outlived protective clothing, reactor parts, plumbing, etc.)? I know this stuff isn't nearly as hazardous as the heavy elements and such left over from the reaction, but from what I've read there is lots of this waste generated and needs to be disposed of. Maybe just dump the stuff in the old shafts where we dug out the uranium and other ores? Make some kind of super sealed container and dump it in the deep ocean? Good use for active volcanoes?
Here's a new twist on how to use your vote. I live in MI and I'm going to vote for Nader because I don't like the guy. I'm hoping that Bush will narrowly win and because Nader got some votes that people assume should have gone to Kerry, they'll chastise him some more to stay out of elections. Maybe the MI Democrats will flog him or something. Here's hoping that a good whipping with a cat-o-nine-tails is unsafe at any speed.
I've tried that lately and it seems to have quit working. Or maybe it's my mix of sarcasm and playing devil's advocate that draws the ire of the moderators. Whichever it is, my karma has the scars to testify to the political moderation assault.
I have a mini maple tree forest growing in my gutters every spring from those damn whirly bird seeds. They are also the biggest 'weed' problem I have in my garden. For how well those things grow I'm suprised the world hasn't been taken over by maple trees.
Or just don't buy anything that has less than a 1 year warranty or buy the extended warranty the stores offer. Manufacturer's don't make up the warranty periods on their items arbitrarily. If the X-Box only has a 90-day warranty I'm suprised most of them last longer than a year.
So you didn't take advantage of the 90-day warranty Microsoft has on the unit? If 90-days seems like too short of a warranty period for you, then don't buy the item. Caveat Emptor.
Hell, I would buy just an updated X-Wing vs. Tiefighter game. Just as long as they took out those missions that had you protecting some weak ass shuttle with a compliment of retarded wingmen, I didn't care for those.
snake... snake... oooohhhh it's a snake.
Try the sixth amendment...

Yeah and it's 'liberals' or 'progressives' nowadays, no more spouting off about 'commie pinko fags'.
I see the strategy of appeasement hasn't left the mindset of most of Europe even after the lessons from WWII.

The question comes down to, did Disney outsource all the Imagineers(c)?
I'm lost with all these corn based products. It's just a maize of technology.*Rimshot*

Just use a salt in computing the password hash. Makes the space requirements for precomputing the hashes go up many many orders of magnitude.

But in some states, the popular vote in that state does legally bind the electors to vote for a certain candidate.

Good thing the system is, since none of the people are.

(Go ahead and mod me down, since by saying this you are really supposed to mod me up
Where does BatBoy and Aliens hottubbing with Theresa and Laura fit in to the apocalyptical picture?
Does that mean Balmer is Pinky and Gates is the Brain? Kind of puts things in perspective, rubber underwear and all. NARF!!

But the real question is, are any of those methods better than GOSUB ?
And the secrets to growing a mean pipeweed. ;)
