if they start blocking my provider then I guess I'll be cable and possibly Netflix free and will just torrent away and donate that $$$ to the ones that provide me a real service.
After all with out a computer there would be no way for me to download anything so why is an ISP being the target? Why don't they go after the hardware/computer manufactures for building electronics that will aid in piracy? Oh yah most ISP's either own content channels so probably get better deals on licensing (Shaw/Rogers/Bell) or they are small enough to be crushed through litigation costs.
Eh I'm referring to the AMD propitiatory drivers. Haven't tested the Radeon ones yet, just waiting for Mint 17.1 to go into stable but there were not as good as the AMD ones when I tested them out about 5/6 months ago mostly with Xonotic.
I run an A10-5800 and an A-10 7700K and the newest drivers since about 3 months ago give me way better performance now. I normally play Xonotic and with the new drivers with my 5800/DDR3 1833 I can max out the effects settings and still get 60-90 FPS on properly designated maps. If I lower the settings to Normal I get anywhere from 90-140 FPS. Before that I was having issues with Ultra settings and lots of weird movement lag.
and acting was pretty bad although it was funny 1/3 of ht show. Basically it was border line Borat style shock comedy. The guy playing Kim Jong did the best acting vs the main stars.
for supporting systems that need to be activated in order to use what you paid for. I wanted to get a Roku media player, well after reading some insane thing about having to phone in to activate your hardware if you didn't want to give out your credit card to activate, it I said fuck it. Its insane that I have to activate hardware before I use it. I have no desire for the company to know my name or other personal. Its none of their business unless I want to deal with warranty issues.
Ill be telling my grand kids about the days of dumb box tv's with out the need to run the tv behind a firewall, game console and computers you owned and could modify and game disks you could lend to your friends with out the authorities breaking down your doors for illegal game lending.
for say $4 with out DRM I'd buy it and many others. Gimme old releases for $2 and I wont even bother with torrents to download whats in my 800+ dvd's I'll just pay for it agai and if I lose it, so be it, its so cheap I'll just re buy it. If I'm out of town and need to watch a movie but already have it at home, for $2 I'd pay for it again.
Well you can easily tell its a farce by how much special commentary a story gets on the news networks besides its being about North Korea (its like a episode and Pinky and The Brain). Unfortunately the ratio of seeing through the bullshit people vs omfg they're taking away out freedom people is 20/80 so....
Only because its was so long since the last ST movie. I didn't min them but I personally got more out of First Contact and getting more into the Borg of things. Now a short series on the Borg and their side would be cool.
at this point I'd rather see new movie ideas that get the next generation of sci-fi fans going. Sick of 20 year remakes or reboots or what ever the fuck they call them next. Hell gimme some more Matrix or Firefly rather than Star Trek or Star Wars.
at Science World (Now Telus World of Science bleh) and the Planetarium in the late 90's in Vancouver.
My heart is bleeding for you.
I'm just following the move studios and music label morality.

I find it more disturbing that anyone would actually care that he made a joke out of it.
and see where the stones fall, then post a disclaimer on the article saying "Well it might not be him" ????? Profit?

I'm Canadian using cable internet from Lightspeed,ca and have no caps. I've downloaded quite a bit 500+ GB and no complaints from the company.
