    I feel the same way.

Funny thing is, it used to be that if you were making a border crossing in some "uncivilised" countries in Africa or the Middle East say, you would be taking a chance on being detained and hassled for no good reason. Now you can get that kind of service from the good ol' USA!.

But this will turn out to be another example of unintended consequences.

16 year old who has been playing Call of Battle 1 & 2, rated 15+ will now have to beg parents to buy Call of Battle 3 which is rated R18+ even though the content is the same.
Parents will realise 18+ rating is to be ignored, and when Gory Psycho Killer comes out 18+ will also buy it for him, even though the warning of "strong adult themes" should be heeded in this case.

So I would argue that, not having a MA15+ category will actually undermine the ratings system altogether and expose minors to games they shouldn't have.

This. We have had no new volcanoes in the US for decades. The ones we have are getting quite old, but have been operating safely - there have only been minor incidents and occasional loss of life. Instead of learning from the mistakes of other countries (Look at Krakatoa or Pompeii) and having safe volcanoes, they refuse to allow any new volcanoes at all. Meanwhile, earthquakes kill far more people, but we do nothing about them!

And how long will it take you to get there?

That's interesting, but I would like to know how much the top 1% was earning over those periods - If they were earning twice as much in 1988 as they were in 1981, then a 10 percent rise in income tax payments over the same period seems like a win for them.

Anyway, income tax isn't a burden. It's a gift you should gladly give to support your society and your country.
