The guy is just allowing people to shoot at paper targets, and there is a control operator there any time the gun is "live".
here are the guys prices from his site.

Shooting Session (each) 10 shots - Max 20 minutes $5.95

DVD recording of session $ 9.95 plus shipping

Paper target from session $ 2.95 plus shipping

Here is a mirrored picture of his setup, I have a few gigs of extra transfer. Live Shot Setup

well, from the site, there is a person attending the rifle at all times. They have a view of what the operator is seeing, and aiming at, so that he can not fire at random birds and such. As it is now, they are not hunting, they are mearly firing 10 shots at a target. You pay $15/month for a membership, and $6 for a 20 minute session of 10 rounds. You then can have the guy mail you a copy of the target, a DVD recording of the sesion, and some other stuff I may regret this but here is a pic of the setup incase his server gets smoked. Setup

That is total bullshit. An increase in altitude will also increase the speed needed to break the sound barrier. But MACH is a set speed based on the speed of sound at sea level with a barometric pressure of 92" of mercury. The speed of sound in a vacume is infinite.

I personaly know of one instance of a person being interogateed by the SS. A kid I went to school with ( very small school) wrote an essay on what they wanted to be when they grew up. He decided to become a political assasin. He was in the 8th grade at the time, and the teacher took it seriously. Since the report mentioned killing former President Clinton, the OSBI ( oklahoma state bueruea of investigation) took it very seriously after being infromed by the local police department(Pauls Valley, Oklahoma). They informed the OSBI, the OSBI informed two agents in Oklahoma City. They came down, questioned EVERYONE in the class, myself included, and all of the students teachers and family. This took a full day, kinda cool as it made for an interesting, wasted school day. They finally decided it was total bullshit, and pure fiction. They warned the kid, and he was repremanded for his violent views by the principal.

Again, sea launch is a more stable platform then from an aircraft. Sea launch is a semi-submersible converted oil platform. These are VERY stable, and would be a lot easier to launch from then any aircraft. These platforms are designed to stay in postition over a given point, or else you run the risk of shearing your drill pipe/production pipe and causing a catostrophic, uncontrolled oil spill. There is a lot of differince between an arieal launch and a sea launch, so they should not be compared.

On a fixed launch platform, you can set a windows for a launch that will not slam your new super duper seeformiles spy satellite into HBO1 or MTV7. ( made up satellite names). In a plane, you would need some pretty nifty navigational computers, plus acurate time, altitude, longitude, latitude, wind direction, and whatever else would be required to put a bird into orbit. On the ground you just have to worry about the weather. Lon,Lat, ALT will not change. Space ship one can do what they do because they are not going into orbit. just going up, and falling back down. This info could be total bullshit, I dont know, just some thoughts I pulled out of the air.
