That's the way the system is in the US right now, and poor people STILL break more laws than the rich. Take a look at prison statistics when you get a chance.
Idiot... how is HP "interfering" with your rights? They are allowing you to buy a printer that they created. If they wouldn't sell you the printer, would they also be "interfering with your rights"?
Everyone knows that you're supposed to keep the receipt if you buy something that might break. Stop blaming other people for your problems. Learn to accept responsibility for your actions. Also, learn how to flash a router.
So if you flash a three-year-old router with the wrong image and it breaks, Linksys should give you a new one, no questions asked? If I crash my car, should the dealer give me a new one for free?
Ah.... another thread where the armchair media moguls come out of the woodwork. It seems as though everyone is smarter than Eisner, yet he became successful while you post to Slashdot.
I don't get it... do you work outdoors?

Linksys isn't bad at updating their firmware. I was able to update my cheap wireless router so that it supports WPA for free.

Microsoft AND RFID bashing all in one thread. Woohoo!
Do you also keep a spare engine in your car?
Note that the value of the $2.00 item purchased by the woman is actually about 25 cents.

Geez... another argument backed up by a George Carlin quote.
Are you suggesting that ID checks don't make it any harder for terrorists to get on planes?
Would you prefer that I used the term "primarily"?
